No offense to the name of this site, but I wonder if fans realize the term Fins did not exist when we were actually great, during the early '70s? Nobody used that term. Fans...media...nothing. I'm not sure when it sloppily entered the language. It still bugs me when I see or hear it, particularly in official terms, like this case...a media outlet of the franchise. Granted, I dislike abbreviations in general.

How do you feel about TLA's? I work for a company that is full of them, drives me nuts. They have a corporate Three Letter Acronym page and on that page is list TLA with a definitions, you guessed it Three Letter Acronym.

Not worth the 8th pick or the 18th pick. Weeden is the better QB now, and for the next 8 years will still be the better QB.

Nobody knows at this point what Tannehill is worth. He could end up being a very good QB or a bust...same for anybody until we see them play in the NFL a while. If PHilbin and Sherman think he could be the guy though, I think you take him at 8, not worth fooling around and hoping he is there later too. Pre-draft talk is just BS to pass time. I prefer looking back a couple years later then see who had value or not.

If you think he is your guy you take him at #8 period or risk him not being there a few spots later. Yes the value is greater by trading down but not if he is off the board.

I completely agree. I was trying to make a joke about the ridiculous notion that someone can be a reach at eight but good value three or four spots later.
