Joe Philbin told Grigson they should have tried to trade for Derek Carr before the deadline.
 
Indys oline has always been terrible since Luck has been there. One of the worst in the NFL every year.

Philbin certainly wasn't going to help much. I remember how laughable it was when Grigson won GM of the year for drafting Andrew Luck. You can make a case he's been one of the worst gms in the NFL since.
 
We can blame Philibin for a lot of things, but is it his fault he inherited an awful offensive line in Indy?

It is indeed Joe's fault that the only coaching job he could land was as the OL coach for a lame duck.
 
Luck has missed a lot of time lately because of his bad oline. Tanny NEVER misses because of his bad oline. Credit is definitely due.
 
I wonder what Luck thought when he found out they had hired Philbin. Hahahahah.
 
One thing I enjoy about Indy's hiring of Philbin is that Indy won't be particularly relevant as long as he's there, and NFL fans can endlessly debate whether Andrew Luck lived up to his draft status and contract.
