What exactly is the problem? I said at the end of last season, they needed to go out there together everyday until Wallace pukes or Ryan's arm drops off. Wallace had no problem catching deep balls from Big Ben and Ryan seems to throw deep to Hartline okay. So what's wrong?

If you are asking for opinions, I think the answer is pretty simple. Mike Wallace is a one-move player, who is a bit of a diva (just listen to his interviews), and is a guy who never adjusts his route or goes after the ball. That doesn't cut it, for $60 million. Ireland vastly overpaid for this guy. He will make a few plays this year, hopefully, but he will be gone next spring, before his next $3 million bonus is due.

If you look at Ryan Tannehill's entire career - including college & NFL preseason & NFL regular season - you'll see that he's never been a guy who could consistently arc a deep ball into a super-fast bucket.

Tannehill is good at throwing 20 yd laser beams. He can arc a deep ball into a slower moving bucket (Hartline, Clay). But arcing a deep ball into a super-fast bucket (Wallace) requires a type of touch & timing that he has never had.

Ryan Tannehill has always been the same guy.

Mike Wallace has always been the same guy. On direct throws he's a body catcher. He's only a terror if the QB can hit him in stride, on the deep go route.

Like it or not, Tannehill & Wallace are not a good match. Where Tannehill is strongest, Wallace is weakest. And vice versa.

And I get flamed for blasphemy, for simply pointing out the truth.

what's wrong? I really don't get why people keep bringing up big ben. He's a 2 time champion that had 5+ years of experience by the time wallace came around if I'm not mistaken and has a really good deep ball. it's tannehills second year with wallace, let's see what happens.

But you see everything you are saying is based purely on the deep ball. Is it not? So what about 6-67 last night. The dude was wide open every one of those and RT delivered. So the problem is purely long ball but he has absolutely no problem hitting him 15-20.

I think you both nailed it.

My gut is telling me wings but I'm not sure about hot sauce on the ipad. What about a hot sauce chix pizza?

Yes. Thanx guys

If your on Ipad, should definitely go for the Cheeseburger... The bread keeps the dirt away from your fingers... Good strategy IMO...

My opinion is give Tanny more time. A new offense that has yet to play a regular season game.

Just like with everything, overreaction amongst the board.

Also worth noting that Tannehill is still new to the quarterback position. The likes of Luck, RGIII, Wilson and Weeden(lol) all had more experience than Tanny comi out of college, and it wasn't close.

Give him time with Lazor. And how about a few full regular season games with the 1s and a full gameplan, before being so critical

Who is this "super fast bucket" you are talking about that he failed with at A&M? Sounds to me like you are just talking out of your ass and made up that post on the go.

Ryan Tannehill is not very good.
