Tannehill being compared to Jay Fiedler, but he will never be that good.

I was listening to ESPN radio, yesterday, and they said Tannehill, is a lot like Jay Fiedler or a Jeff Garcia. Personally, I don't think he will ever be that good. I think it would be a horrible decision, if we took Tannehill with the 8th pick. I think he is 2nd or 3rd round talent. We need to draft a WR, with the 8th pick, and then get the best availiable offensive tackle in the 2nd round. In the third round, we should take a quarterback. Miami record next year, will be 4-12. No way this team will win more than 4 games, next year.

Cool story
 
He has better tools than Fiedler and much better size/strength than Garcia... Very similar game to Garcia though. He is much more then a game manager...He just needs time to get some experience under his belt

Jay Fiedler is the worst thing that has ever happened to the Dolphins. If we actually would have had a QB then we prob would have added a Superbowl or two.

You're right. He'll never be as good as Fiedler. He'll be much better.
 
If you think Tannehill is the future you take him where you can get him at moving up, down or staying put. If not, you take the BPA at 8 instead of the best available at a specific position.

I hear this a lot and I find this inaccurate. Our defense couldn't defend against tight ends, or offenses like the Rams. There were some games where we got blew out badly. Was it because of press coverage? Bad linebacker core? I remember our secondary giving up big plays at times from the receiving end.
 
Defenses used to stack the box daring Dumbo Ears to throw balloons into the secondary...yea, we need a guy just like him.
