4 good deep passes. 2 misplayed by WRs. Hartline and Williams. Yes the 50 yarder was under thrown but still was caught for 50 yards. I hate in game threads but i want to put a rest to the can't throw deep narrative. His oline has to protect long enough that's the only problem. Lazor finally designed plays to get enough time to go deep. That's my QB!

He still needs to improve, especially w/Wallace, but I blame the coaches as much as I blame Tannehill.

Lazor stated earlier in the year that they don't practice the deep pass much to rest Wallace's hamstring or something like that, and I think that's really silly.

So 3 years of awful deep passes and he has success one game and now its "end of story"?

It's a problem, and there are a lot of moving parts that make it a problem . . . but it's still an issue until we see consistency.

If anything, people can see how important having that in the offense means to the entire team.

I completely agree with the majority of this.

Tannehill at the very best is an average deep ball passer. He's been very inaccurate deep. That's not to say that he can't or won't improve because I think we have seen improvement just not enough.

I fully expect Tannehill and Wallace to work with Lazor and Marino in the offseason and figure this out.

His 1st year he was at the top of the league in deep passing. ...

a 32 yard touchdown and all of a sudden we erase all previous years of under/overthrows... some of you fans are just that... fanatics

You are definitely a RT homer.lol I can throw the ball 65 yards downfield. Doesn't mean I can throw a good deep ball. And I like RT. He has a big weakness though and it's that he isn't consistent on the deep ball. And that's a fact dude. One game shows improvement and I hope it continues but, one game does little for me. Consistency will make me a believer.

4 good deep passes.... Where were you when he had 5 straight great games? Your only here for the bad times so what the hell are you?

Couldn't agree more. Thill is an average qb.
