I don't know exactly what the deal is but more than not he underthrows wallace consistently on fly routes. Supposedly nobody could overthrow this guy when he was in pittsburgh. I am not sure if Wallace is just content with his contract but I just don't see him really putting forth the effort of a 60 million dollar wideout either. I don't see him using his speed to blow by defenders and his route running is average at best. The combination of Tannehill underthrowing him deep and Wallace not beating average cornerbacks and well, what's the freakin point of paying this guy for this horrific output. We can't even use him as a decoy adequately. I'm stumped.

Tannehill had another poor outing. Really starting to wonder what we have at QB.

The situation did not call for a deep shot

The coverage did not call for a deep shot

He can't throw anything accurately. Even when guys are open they are routinely reaching behind them.

I'm pretty sure Matt Moore could hit some of those deep passes to Wallace...from what I could remember his accuracy for the deep ball was pretty good

Ryan Tannehill has a large enough sample size now... He's not very good.

Mike "basket catch" Wallace waits for every pass to fall gently into his arms without any obstruction from a defender. He doesn't fight for the ball and he doesn't come back for it. I would never throw another pass to that guy ever again.

On that play the ball shouldn't have been thrown but Wallace needs to make an attempt at catching it. He's playing scared
