Am a big time Tannehill supporter but I have never seen him played so bad. Miami didn't lose tha game they just gave it away.

Notice the second pass it was 3rd and 8 and two receivers just stopped 3yrds shy of the yardage needed for first ? That's coaching right there!

if you watch that QB without knowing he was picked 8th overall and has a $96 million contract you would think he's just your run of the mill average nfl QB.

Haha. What this tells me it's that's it's just so easy for defenses to play against our offense

I mean this is true if you don't know he Miami Dolphins. Also it's clear on at least the last two sacks he held the ball for WAAAAAY too long

When the other team knows you're going to pass, there's really not much you can do.

-Seems like Tannehill is scanning the field a lot less this year and going with the hot receiver most of the time
-Jason Fox needs to never step on another field again
-Jordan Cameron has been hugely disappointing this season. With that being said, why the **** is he asked to block?
-There's no variation to our screen passes. We run the exact same type of running back screen every game, and it hasn't worked for several weeks now
-Apart from Fox, our line has been playing good enough the past few weeks.
-Negative-yardage plays kill any hope we have on a drive

Tannehill is average to above average, 3/5ths of the o line is hot garbage, and the offensive coordinator is terrible.
We have some playmakers on offense but it isn't like we have a bunch of Dez Bryants and Adrian Petersons running around. Tannehill's not great but he's probably the least of our concerns offensively. O line and OC are much bigger issues, and we need a real #1 wide out. Where the hell are you, Devante??

On another note, I have zero ****ing clue as to why we felt the need to pay Jordan Cameron so much money to NOT throw him the ball. The guy can clearly play.

For all the complaining about how inaccurate Tannehill is or how he can't throw the deep ball or how he can't read defenses, almost none of those complaints are really justified by watching this tape. The flaw that shows up more than any other that has really hurt and limited his ascension into a top tier qb, is his failure to climb the pocket. I think there were about four or five times in that Dallas tape where if he would have climbed the pocket, he would have bought himself more time and possibly allowed a receiver to break free for a big play. If I was coaching him, I would be pounding into his head that the first thing he should be thinking about is moving up in the pocket. I hope he can get better at it and maybe with a better coaching staff he can, but if he doesn't he will always be fatally flawed.

On the plus he can and had really improved on climbing the pocket last year, unfortunately I feel he's lost confidence in the line and the hits over the years are starting to take effect and hence is backing out of the pocket more. Hopefully it's all correctable and he won't go down the David Carr road.

It's beyond sad..3-4 years down the line and we are still commenting on the same problem. Unbelievable!!

While watching the game live, I thought RT played like dog*&$!. After watching the Tannehill dropbacks video, I actually see something else.
The first few drives: No one can catch for poop. Drop after drop after drop. (Cameron, Landry, Matthews)
The pick six: RT saw the hot route from the get go, stared down the receiver and missed the LB, BAD pass.
The RT run plays where the OL whiffs on blocks.
By this point in the game, it seems as if the defense knows what we're doing before we do it. This has been a theme. Lazor's offense doesn't work in the NFL. It's like "easy" mode on Madden for other teams.

Ultimate observations on Offense for this particular game:

Cameron was overpaid. He can't catch and he sure as hell can't block. Can we have Charles Clay back please?
RT is late. Almost always. He throws late (missing opportunities), he holds on too long, he makes decisions late. Is it his throwing motion? His timing? What he's being told? I REALLY hope it is just him overthinking things. If this is his natural rhythm then I don't see how you fix that.

Bonus: He connected on a couple of long balls this game. (The one at the 2:25 mark to Landry and the 4:35 mark to stills were actually pretty beautiful)

Pouncey can't snap the football (isn't that his job?)

I disagree with some of this. I think the only thing Tannehill is late with is reacting to pressure and moving up or sliding in the pocket to give himself a clear throwing lane. He is not late on his timing throws or seeing coverage. I do agree that the offensive scheme is flawed in many ways though.

Wow, it was hard not to get annoyed with hearing...

And a flag on the play, another flag on the play, flag down, penalty pending, etc...

I mean damn...
