Tannehill Dropbacks vs New England: Last Game of the week.

Good stuff. I think that's one of the better games we've seen him play. He took a lot of shots down field which allowed him to steal some yards underneath. I thought Parker and Jennings played really well. Juice is always consistent!

It's amazing, even in one of the better games last year, to see how little real separation the receivers have.

Very small windows to throw to, for the most part. And very little threat downfield. Stills, supposedly a fast WR, plays incredibly small and slow and weak. No way in heck is he worth burning a 3rd round pick on.

Miami is so, so bereft of true playmakers. The real-time fastest receiver on the team is Parker. And next is Cameron. Third is Stills, who must be so weak that his pads take of two tenths of a second from his speed, and drain him of all strength.

Boy do we love to throw quick slants down the middle. It's amazing how well Tannehill can throw on the move, why didn't they design some roll outs for him? Or move the pocket for him? It blows my mind

Someone who did get separation and look quick didn't play enough, Greg Jennings.

Not un-consequently, for whatever reason, one of the games with the best protection I've seen him enjoy. The Pats only rarely sent more than 4 rushers, and a large portion of that, only 3 immediate rushers... with a delayed rush from a fourth guy looking for developing lanes.

I hate to give any credence to those claiming the Pats weren't trying... but wtf were they thinking? How do you not throw more pressure at that atrocious to start with, and injured O line? Whatever it was, I bet they were re-thinking the hell out of it near the end of the AFC Championship. :)

I was thinking the same thing. Did Stills make a single play in that game?

I cannot wait to see an offense designed to the team's strengths. It has been years since I have seen that?

I felt I was watching a Madden play with that Parker catch haha. Thanks for the Vid. I noticed Tannehill is doing well on the roll and getting better at stepping up when the rush is near. Also, Billy Turner actually did well at RG. I didn't see the game so this was nice to see. We either do "dink and dunks" or a long pass. I'd love to see more mid shots. I wish our receivers would get more separation. Stills is frustrating me. Jennings outplayed him.

Still hands are questionable and he definitely doesn't come across as a speed receiver. Nothing about his skill set jumps out at you. Nothing! We can and must do better there.

Stills in the first half was very frustrating to watch. Seemed everyone showed up to play but him.

Nice to see an accurate thrower, unlike a QB in the last NFL game I recently watched.

The Stills trade was a terrible one . . . would of seriously kept Ellerbe and that 3rd round pick over him and I said as much when it happened.

I don't trust Drew Brees receivers leaving Drew Brees . . . never have . . . on what planet does a team give up a young WR who has had "some success" on a team with 2 rookie years left on the contract, a team that needs a receiver like that, for an unproven 3rd round pick who has proven nothing . . . this deal was always overrated by this site.

The only thing Kenny Stills can do better than Wallace is give more of an effort to challenged balls . . . Mike Wallace was better in every other facet (and I am not in any way saying we should of kept Mike Wallace). With Parker on this team now, Kenny Stills IMO becomes obsolete . . . and if I can get Rishard back relatively cheap, he's a much better player than Stills. I keep Kenny as the #4 and dump him after next year when his rookie deal is up.

People saying get rid of Matthews and roll with Parker/Landry/Stills . . . are putting way too much faith into Kenny Stills. Obviously there is a limit to what you pay for Matthews, but he needs to be seen as more of a priority for this team IMO.

How many 3rd and longs can a team have? I hope to God that Parker stays healthy into the offseason and TC. He'll be a monster if he can stay on the field. Cameron I'm still excited about too assuming he doesn't have to hang back and block since the OL stinks.

I was going to say that lol seemed like every time it changed plays it was 3rd and 7+
