Just for those who care. Brees has the record with 10 games in one season. Can Tannehill tie it? He'd need to do it in 4 of the next 5 of course. 10 is insane.

That's crazy good. I wouldn't count on anybody doing it but this offense is predicated around high percentage throws and tannehill is accurate. Still say no

but he's done it against good defenses. and the way the jets play...

I could see it. Even in last week's shootout the offense wasn't just flinging the ball all over the field. Controlled passing game.

If he breaks the record, or even ties it, we'll probably win 11 games.

Not with this defense they better play better. You would think with the game he had sunday we would win but no the defense was a complete no show

Fortunately they won't be facing Peyton Manning every week...

If you look at average completion percentage by decade it goes up over time. Once upon a time hall of famers had 52% completion perfentages and 75 QBRs. I put no stock in any of these passing stats today. Every franchise QB should be 65% comp or better and toss 30+ TDs. 4,000 yards isn't even that impressive anymore.

I went off topic but I hate what Roger Goodell has done to the game.

Imagine how pissed we'd all be if we had John Elway from his first few years in the league. Rough numbers. That dude turned out alright.

Definitely has been on a roll with the completion percentage. Good to see....

I love getting on Facebook and reading people down playing it to the point "It's easy when the passes are only 4 yards long". Funny that even if that were an arguable point, I wouldn't trust the people making such comments to answer 70 questions correct out of 100 if the questions were asked at a 4th grade knowledge level...

Agree, but Brees set that record recently in 2011 so it is a relevant stat for comparison in this day and age. It's not like we're lauding Tannehill for being in pursuit of an outdated 90's passing statistic. But you are right, it's slightly insane the numbers that are expected from modern era QB's.

I get your point but he's tied for the lead yhis year so that means he's doing that better than everyone else.
