On a day that saw Tannehill lead the offense to 35+ points vs a top defense with elite pass rushers all while being protected by 3rd string tackles, we still see people blaming Tannehill for the loss due to a fluke INT that MIGHT have imperceptibly skipped off a shoulder pad and hit the receiver in the hand to bounce off into the hands of a defender...

Well, if a 4 TD, 1 INT, 100+ passer rating isn't enough to keep people off his back for one week, then I guess nothing is...

And if that is the case, I am genuinely interested... What is your plan?

So to all the Tannehill haters out there, what do you do this offseason? Do you cut/trade him? And if you do, who do you replace him with? Do you actually have a plan that doesn't involve a Madden trade scenario?

Anyone blaming Tannehill for anything today should be forced by law to stop watching football.

I love the kid.

This team needs a big target that can win. A Josh Gordon, or something close to it.

Wallace is a good player, but he won't fight for contested deep passes. That's the only thing the kid needs to get better.

Give him a Gordon and boom. You will see plenty of deep passes.

But but he can't throw deep

No one that understands the game will find fault with the QBs performance. He is going to get the 5the year option exercised and will be the QB for the next 10+ years.

I'm sure this thread will be more comical than insightful so in the mean time...

That's the front office's problem. Ask them.

How convenient, just bitch away but never offer any solutions...

Have you watched the deadbeats they've trotted out at the QB position for a decade? You really want to return to that? Because that's what happens when you make rash decisions without having a plan...

Tannehill may never be the next PEYTON Manning, but we don't need him to be... We just need him to be Eli... And he can be that, and likely better. Stop expecting that an elite QB is just going to be gifted to the Dolphins by divine providence...

It took us a decade just to find a halfway decent guy, and now some of you are all too quick to throw him out without a viable plan in place...

Really did we throw one contested deep ball to Wallace today? Great solution Josh Gordon a idiot finding new ways to be suspended?

I agree whole heartily with this post.

Again, not my job to find the QB. And if Tannehill still can't hit deep passes, go ONE game without getting sacked, and have passes batted down at the line of scrimmage, pretty safe to say he'll never improve.
