Thought this would be interesting. Let's try to summarize our opinions of Tannehill in 140 characters or less. Let's not turn this into back and forth arguments. Limit one post per poster. No quoting of each other's posts. Use you characters wisely.

Quality young QB. Can make all the throws. Mentally & physically tough. Athletic. Corrects mistakes. Must improve long ball & leadership.
 
Flashes of potential, mediocrity and below averageness. Some improvement. Some regression. Tough as nails. Jury is still out.
 
Are you kidding me? We need stats! Cold hard numbers and equations and algorithms.

No but for real- will need to edit this post later
 
Has the misfortune of being the QB for a team that has a bunch of whinny fans that have unrealistic expectations and have more passion for bitching than they do for supporting.

Whinny fans, lol u do realize we haven't had a winning season in half a decade or won a playoff game in over a decade. Hell its amazing we are still fans.
 
Currently not nearly good enough in the areas that matter most in terms of winning, with no objective evidence that anyone else is at fault.
 
A raw talent lacking in awareness who flashes potential but has trouble throwing the deep ball and managing the game. He is still learning but has to start improving immediately.
 
Positives: Throws a nice looking ball, catchable, good zip on short and intermediate throws. Accurate passer. Has above average mobility and a prototype size. Much tougher than he looks. Has ability to break off runs. Prefers to throw people open than tuck and run. Leadership is coming along. Smart player, very intelligent. High character guy.

Negatives: Inconsistent accuracy, leaves a lot to be desired on the deep balls, could use more zip as well as timing/placement. Prototype size but not a bruiser in the way of an Andrew luck or cam newton, not as quick or shifty as a russel or rg. Despite mobility, leave some to be desired behind the LOS for me. Turns the ball over way too much. Bit lame personality-wise. Not sure if players will rally around him when it counts.
