1-5 in the division and staring right at 1-6. The win vs jets last year does not count because moore won that game. He also lost last year thursday night fball vs bills. Lost HOF game vs cowboys even tho it didnt count & he only played a few series but that was an important game unveiling uniforms national stage want to look good he looked horrible. Lost vs saints looked terrible. Im just starting to get the sense this kid doesnt grasp the importance of critical games. To allow thad lewis to come into miami and beat u is extremely concerning. And to possibly start 1-6 in the division is just a problem for me. That is when u want your QB to show up the most. Im sorry i like the kid but this was a knock on him in college. If u cant win your division games your not gonna make the playoffs & u wont be a starter long. Opposing Defensive Coordinators are having there way with tannehill so far in his young career.

That was the most preposterous combination of drivel I have ever heard.

Dude, for Christ sake give me a break, he's not even in his second year and had zero weapons last and an OL made of Swiss cheese this year. I know one thing, RT may have some issues but cowering against an opponent is not one of them. This guy shows up to play. And as far as people complaining about his pocket presence, it's just him not being afraid of being hit and desperately trying to make something happen

Still think the jury is out on Tannehill, he has had his excuses but needs to take much better care of the football if he wants to remain a starter. His pocket presence is poor, doesn't seem to have the instincts to avoid pressure and use his legs to extend plays. I want to see more of what he did on that TD to Gibson. Listen, we all want him to succeed, his tenure up until now has been just OK.

Ssshhh, don't you know this is the thread where we convince people that Ryan Tannehill is a bust? The guy has 22 starts, he should be a primetime star by now. That HOF game against the Cowboys? That one really proved how bad he is. Seriously, how dare he loses that game? I'm personally already looking at the 2014 QB class. It's time to move on cause clearly Ryan will NEVER improve. Ever. Got it? Okay.

After three wins, it was really easy to say that Tannehill was the franchise QB of the future, wasn't it? Now after losses, all of a sudden he's not?

There's so many impatient people on this board who overreact to every single thing.

"It's raining out, the sun is so much better!"
"The sun is so hot, I wish it was cloudy!"

If you're like that in every aspect of your life, may God have mercy on your soul.

It makes no sense at all when people speak of QBs like they are MLB pitchers. Pitchers have much more control over a game depending on how well they pitch. NFL QBs don't. Football is the ultimate team sport. To say Thad Lewis beat the Dolphins is WRONG! Miami made a ton of mistakes and the BILLS, not Lewis, beat the Dolphins. Thad Lewis didn't cause that fumble that was recovered in field goal range. Tannehill is only in his second season. He is gonna make mistakes. He needs time. All anyone needs to see is if he is improving from year to year. In my opinion he is. Actually I think he's doing very well considering he's got an O-line that can't pass block. BTW, the HOF game was not a big game. It's a practice game. A practice game the Miami has lost every time they played in it...BUT Miami has had a winning season every time they have played in the HOF game. Lots of football left to be played. I think it's best to wait and see what happens.

So the win vs the Jets last year doesn't count because he only started and didn't finish the game, but the loss vs the cowboys in a preseason game does because he only played a few series and we wanted to look good??

I prefer threads where the biased is less apparent....

Maybe he's the answer, maybe he's not. So far, I still like what I see for the most part in his SECOND YEAR and I'll still be rooting for him.

Since when has the HOF game. been important. I had to stop there.

I don't usually call people out, but this post is an epic fail! How in the **** can You say the Jets game does not count because Moore finished (even though RT started and the Fins were ahead when he got hurt), but the HOF Game does count even though Tannehill played even less time in that game? Some of Tannehill's critics are as biased against him as his supporters are in his favor.

1. What you say statistically is true......there is no denying that.
2. Let's look at the division record:

vs Jets - Lost 23-20. Dan Carpenter misses a 45-47 yd FG that would've won the game. It's Tannehill's fault he missed?
at Jets - Win 30-9. As it's been said, Tanny started but was knocked out.
at Bills - Lost 19-14. Stats weren't good.
vs Patriots - Lost 23-16. Stats weren't awful but the WRs to make catches were Hartline, Matthews, Clay, Daniel Thomans and J. Lane. Joe Montana would suck with that WR core.
vs. Bills - Won 24-10. Again no flashy stats but he did have 2 TDs passes.
at Patriots - Lost 28-0. Hartline, Binns and Matthews the leading WRs. Again. Bad combo.

This year vs. Buffalo. Started out poor. Came back to give team the lead. Certain cirumstances led the Dolphins to lose the game.

There is plenty of blame to go around. Bad offensive line this year. Bad WRs last year. Young QB who was inexperienced. Offensive coordinator who isn't the brightest. But the blame always gets solely placed on the QB and that's what this thread is doing.

You're actually criticizing him b/c of the HOF Game? That's phenomenal feedback.

These threads are getting to be so asinine. NOT comparing the two, but Peyton Manning was 3-9 in the Division at this time in his career, and had not yet beaten the Dolphins.
