I cant figure this kid out. Shows clutch capabilities with his win against the falcons, his ability to throw against the blitz one of the best in the nfl i believe. So he shows he can produce & is clutch in the red zone which is good. I dont think we should give up on this kid. Ireland stripped him of bush 1000 yards didnt give him seam threat & no WR's who can fight for the ball or go up & get it. These WR's cant beat man coverage. His pocket presence is shaken & he is reason we lost some of these games yet also the reason we won some. He orchestrated 17-3 lead in 1st half & loss his #1 WR gibson but nobody wants to talk about a now depleted offense without keller gibson binns bush just wallace and hartline? Not sticking up for him but dont give up

He has to be protected. It may take him a while to get better pocket presence.

It's getting there that's the problem.

Tannehill has shown that when given time in the pocket, he looks every bit the part of an elite QB.

Only curious thing about him is pocket awareness and movement in and out of it with pressure. I like what I see otherwise. Room for growth but enough there to roll with.

Andy Dalton is not an elite QB and not once has Tannehill ever looked as good as Dalton did on Sunday. At times Tannehil looks the part of a QB that may have answered our search of the QB position over the last 15 years but he has never looked like an "elite" QB. That term is thrown around too loosely.

He does need to learn to hang onto the ball better when he gets hit but it's hard for me to blame him because of the awful protection he has gotten this year. Coming into Sunday's game, he was the most sacked QB this year.

He's going to be inconsistent because of inexperience, OL and coaching. He hasn't had much help this year and to his credit he has made some plays. He's also had too damn many turnovers. Because of inexperience, OL and coaching. I was hoping we'd see a slow buildup of improvement this year....the OL mess is killing that theory at present.

Apples to oranges there buddy. Two different o-lines, two totally different WR and TE corps. The Bengals are a serious contender with all the weapons on offense at Dalton's disposal.

And people say he is the next coming of Henne, who did the exact opposite in the red zone. Funny. Only negative I see in the kid is his pocket awareness, he seems to lack vision in knowing when to step up in the pocket and hit the open lane when pressured. Other than that, his ball security is easily coachable, we just need to find us a winner in that area of personnel. I truly believe the ill advised throws and dumb interceptions will be cured, I don't see it continuing like it has. The kid has too much confidence in himself, I have seen enough of him off the field to know that.

Not to mention he used Dalton's best game (by far) in his three year career as an example lol, highly flawed example to use in an argument.

Lol, not even Dalton has looked like Dalton on Sunday. Outside of Sunday and a few wins even Bengal fans question if Dalton is the guy.

You can't figure the kid out because he is still a very raw developing quarterback next to your average QB coming outta college in terms of experience. And also because we haven't seen a QB in over a decade with real potential struggle through growing pains. Rare is a Dan Marino or Andrew Luck.

This kid has talent, but this fan base is too impatient to see him turn the corner.

Who cares? He's also turning the ball over in critical situations.
