The issues that I see with Tannehill are below.

1. He does not look off the receiver(he sets his eye on one receiver and he never looks another way).

2. A lot of batted down passes at the line of scrimmage.

3. Keeps the ball too long and never uses his legs(he was a receiver, so use your skills)

4. Does not have accuracy for the long throws.

................ Thats just a few things I can point out. I am honestly starting to believe that this guy is not the QB for the future.

It's good that there is now a thread pointing this out. It clearly needed to be said again.

(Sorry, man. I'm only on my first cup of coffee.)

Your points are noted, and generally agreed upon.

Same issues he has ALWAYS had!

Nobody would have drafted him where we did.

It cannot be said enough. HE WAS NOT GOOD IN COLLEGE!! What would make him all of the sudden be a good nfl qb?

I don't know about that. There were rumors that the Bills would have taken him if he got past Miami, but who knows whether the FO was as high on Tannehill as Bills fans were.

I agree with your second statement. Like Tim Tebow and Blaine Gabbert, Tannehill's rise up the draft board really was out of whack with his qb play in college. He wasn't good enough to take the starting job away from a QB who wasn't even drafted, but inherited the job because of injury. He also didn't do that well against better opponents IIRC. Those were big red flags for me because I remember Rob Johnson and JP Losman of the million dollar arms and fifty cent brains. Tannehill seems to be in that same mode. He sure can throw a pretty pass. Unfortunately, those pretty passes are too few and far between for Tannehill to be effective in the NFL, which doesn't award style points for pretty passes.
