“He’s already corrected me about three times on play calls,” Gase says of Tannehill. “He’s just more comfortable with everything he does. I see a guy that is completely in control of the huddle.”

Gase sees it. And more importantly, Tannehill’s teammates see it.

“I’m glad he’s back out there taking back his huddle,” says veteran right guard Jermon Bushrod, “and we’re going to fight for him. That’s our leader.”

The most poignant part of the article, is him being labeled as a corporate qb. To me, Ryan lacked the fire/killer instinct and ability to "mentally" take over a game based on his great athletic ability. It comes with comfort, fit, experience. Honestly, I don't think he would've gotten out of this shell if it wasn't for Gase. The prior regime held him back. Look footballs still 100% human. If Ryan can beat you down mentally, game over. Period. You send a message to the entire opposing team that your A game has to be in, on both sides. I see this with Brady. And I also see this with Miami in the past, thinking they had the team to compete with NE and then getting humbled by Brady.

I really dislike articles like this.......

RT17, you're talking the talk, now go walk the walk.

Stay healthy 17 . . . we know he has the goods and was on an obvious upward trend before the injury.

yawn, the 6th year in a row an article comes out stating that this is Tannehill's team.
