Tannehill just ****ing SUCKS

Said it then and it's been proven since - we should have (would have, could have??) sold the farm and moved up to get Luck......would have been set back a few years and waddled in mediocrity (which we're doing now anyway) but would have had a franchise QB to build around not a mobile Chad Henne.

He is never going to be a franchise QB..... His reads are way to slow, he does not lead the receivers so they can keep running after a catch, he can not hit on any long balls, he holds the ball way too long... By now he should be able to do most of these things if not all.... he has not made any big strides of improvement ... And doesn't his rookie contract run out after this year, which means he will be looking for a large new contract after this season... I would not want to invest a lot of money on a QB who is going to be average at best.... I really think that they need to look at drafting a solid QB next year...

Exactly.....let Matt Moore take the reins and get what we can for Tannehill while we can still get something

absolutely correct..said this after year 1..sooner we realize it and move on the sooner we are going to find a real qb

I always try to be oiptimistic about RT but im starting to lose faith. If he doesnt drastically improve from last year, and that means the 3000+ 30td, <20 INT , its time to find his replacement.

Me and my friends will text each other and do QB rankings, RB rankings, WRs etc.
One friend had Tannehill #12 (he's a dolphins homer) one Packers fan had him #19 and I put him at #20. Here is where I think Tannehill stacks up against the rest of the league..

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Peyton Manning
3. Drew Brees
4. Tom Brady
5. Andrew Luck
6. Philip Rivers
7. Ben Roethlisberger
8. Russell Wilson
9. Matt Ryan
10. Matthew Stafford
11. Cam Newton
12. Tony Romo
13. Colin Kaepernick
14. Nick Foles
15. Jay Cutler
16. Carson Palmer
17. Joe Flacco
18. Alex Smith
19. Andy Dalton
20. Ryan Tannehill
21. Eli Manning
22. Robert Griffin III
23. Derek Carr
24. Sam Bradford
25. Jake Locker
26. Geno Smith
27. Matt Cassel
28. Josh McCown
29. Chad Henne
30. E.J. Manuel
31. Ryan Fitzpatrick
32. Brian Hoyer

Tannehill will never be higher than #16 which means he is an average/below average quarterback. But no one will be available for Miami to take in the draft that is an upgrade.

No doubt about it.

I would rather start Rex Grossman than Tannehill.

WV here's the thing we cannot evaluate th until this season is over. FYI I knew he was not a franchise qb before we drafted him. Tebow would be better then th, at least tebow has heart. I just don't see the fire in th. Wv this season is about evaluation, it's not about winning because we are not good enough yet I believe. At the end of season if we don't make playoffs hickey has to make a grown up decision and move on. It's just that simple. We might have to be stuck w th next as well because I don't think there is no one worth drafting in next yrs draft or bring in a vet qb who can play.

Bills are his damn kryptonite

Tannehill is his own kryptonite. I think we could win the same amount of games with Moore, maybe one or two more games. But We need a coach with some balls. Philbin sucks the life right out of you. How he inspires anyone
is beyond me. Philbin gave up with two and a half minutes left in the second quarter... you run out the clock? realy? At that moment, Philbin lost me. I would rather watch a sack of potatos than to watch one of his press
conferences.

This is the dumbest post I have ever read. Why the f*** would the Colts have traded that pick when there was a supposed once in a generation type QB in the draft.

Matthews drop in the end zone was brutal.

I can't admit that. THe ball to mathews was behind him, the same with most of tannehills throws. Tannehill is terrible with ball placement. watch how elite qb's throw their wide recievers open, tannehill does the opposite. I love the dolphins, I have been rooting for them since I was born, But I can see elite quarterbacks in the league, and we DO NOT HAVE ONE.

If it hits both of your hands you catch it. You learn that in little league. It smacked him right in his hands. Bad drop.

This was the year RT was suppose to take it to the next level. I know it's only 2 games but I don't see any signs and of anything, he is regressing. If this continues, I think we should at kick the tires of having a new QB come in. I just wanna win now and not wait. He's not impressing me with his play

Kirk Cousins in the 3rd instead of Tannehill would have been sufficient. Ironically, he satisfied the Parcells' rule when drafting QB's.

What completely baffles me is his inability to drop a long(ish) throw into a receiver. Just once. Please.

Regarding the list, pretty accurate but Eli (even though he's terrible this year) is way, way, way > RT.
