Jamie Dukes and Heath Evans, so take it how you want.

In a segment on NFL Network, analysts Heath Evans and Jamie Dukes did a re-draft of the 2012 class, and selected the quarterbacks again based on their performance so far in their careers and their future potential.

Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck was selected first, and then coming in at #2 was Miami Dolphins signal caller Ryan Tannehill, chosen ahead of the man who was picked before him in the actual draft in RGIII, and new Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson.

The move wasn’t surprising as many would think, given Tannehill’s success against his own class (2-1 against Wilson and Luck, and he’s yet to face Griffin), and the flashes of brilliance he’s shown in clutch situations such as in comeback wins against the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots this season.

“When you talk to quarterback minds, everybody wants the next Aaron Rodgers. Well, that quarterback down in Miami, Ryan Tannehill, that’s my guy,” said Evans. “He’s the closest thing right now physically and in the giftedness I think between the ears he’s the closest thing we have to Aaron Rodgers.”

“I like this quarterback. I’ve been high on him since he came out, and I’m sticking with him.”

Hmmmm....that is interesting! Glad to see Tannehill getting some love from those two.

Martin indeed is a snake but Heath Evans is a POS!

(Daytona making an early preemptive move on The Dark Knight)

I watched that yesterday and was suprised.

I can see that. Miami's lack of postseason isn't on Tanne. Many think last year was his breakout year, but now that he has had as many games under his belt as many QBs have coming out of college I think this year will be. Hope Hickey knows how to assemble an OL. Hope Lazer (sp? I dunno) knows how to utilize them.

Still RG 3 and out is over rated. He is a team cancer.

Fin heaven lives in a vacuum when it comes to Tannehill perception. Outside of this place he's a promising up and comer. Here he needs to be replaced ASAP!!

I wasn't! But, it does raise a question on How good is Wilson? If the roles were reversed and he could start for these Miami Dolphins and Tannehill was the starter in Seattle. Do they still make and win the Superbowl and do we make at least make the playoffs?

I personally don't think R.Wilson can carry at team. He is certainly Talented, But he's no Luck or Tannehill IMO! I believe he would struggle if he had to carry a team on his shoulder like a Lck or Tannehill.

I'm surprised to hear that from Evans. I like Tannehill a lot! I think he can become a great QB. If he can get better with his deep throws, he might make it to the #1 pick in the re-drafts of the future. :D

RG3 #3 LMAO
1. Luck
2. Tannehill
3. Wilson
4. Foles
5. RG3
6. Couisins

Based on what data? They clearly haven't gotten the memo. Quick, get Shouright on the line stat...

Washington gave up a lot for RGIII while all we did was wait for number 8.

well, if it was a first round redraft maybe. however considering what Wilson is doing you could argue he should be number 1, luck 2, foles 3, tannehill 4, RGIII 5.

No way i put Tannehill ahead of Wilson at least from what we've seen so far. i'm hopeful long term for now I think

Luck , Wilson , Tannehill , Foles

And suddenly Heath Evans goes from much-maligned in the forum to highly credible.
