If Ryan Tannehill been seen in Pensacola that is 100% a James Andrews consult. But I'm probably stating the obvious.

Saw this last night

Hope this is for a 2nd opinion not an operation

All good. Fingers crossed for Ryan. Doctor Andrews is the GOAT when it comes to stuff like this.

Mr. Ross could of let him use the jet for this trip tho.

Dr Andrews is the best so at least he's seeing him

Does anyone know if Andrews was the doctor that saw him after the injury? Could be to check on the knee and see if he can take the cast off.

Here's what a surgeon told me once at a consult...you know what i do right? If he's there he'll have surgery imo. Do it sooner than later.

He's having surgery imo. He's not up there just for a check up. Hoping it's not a big time surgery but if he needs it then get it done now

Ozzy rules!!

Damn, my home town....was going to go home for Christmas too, but have to work some OT.

still not buying the surgery bit. It's probably nothing more than a follow up consult.

Interesting but again if he was flying there for surgery why wouldn't the dolphins say so and place him on IR?

Then again I guess they could make the announcement once the surgery is complete.

Feel comfortable that this is all about getting an opinion from the best. If he recommends surgery, the Fins will shut him down and he will have the surgery.

But even if he doesn't need surgery, I don't see him being active unless we make a very big playoff run . . . and even then I think it would be in a backup role. This is the type of injury that needs a few months to rehab from. Not just physically, but mentally. I am surprised people are so willing to just thrust him back in there versus New England. Now if we are in the AFC championship game and Matt Moore goes down, it would be nice to see Ryan able to give it a go and have that insurance policy.

Tannehill will not be playing again this season, playoffs or not. We need to hope he'll be ready to go once training camp starts.
