Tannehill has turned a corner.

Since London, Tannhill has completed 108 of 155 passes (69.7%) for 1283 yards (8.3 YPA), 10 TD, 3 INT and a 108 QBR. This does not count his 227 yards rushing.

MIA has their QB.

I think it is still too soon, but he has real OT's, a real OC, and a real OL coach now so I bet you will be proven right

Great post.

These numbers include London?

Those are for real numbers.

He's had drops in there too.

That's like Foles last year.

If Ryan and the offense maintains these kind of numbers this team can play with anyone.

Its such a big difference to allow this defense to play with a lead -

Our pass rush is fantastic and the strength of this team - allow our defense to play with a lead and good things are going to happen.

I agree w this. He's turning things that were liabilities like pocket presence into strengths. He runs the read option as well as anyone. Consistency is key and he will need to keep this play up for long stretches. And he will need to hit a bomb for a TD here and there. He's developing - he really is.

If he could find his deep ball with Wallace watch out, but that continues to be a weakness. Can it improve as well?

When I watched that Green Bay game and saw Aaron Rogers throw you see a confidence to him throwing, you see a quick release and the trust to just lets it rip. You have seen hesitation from RT and since that Oakland game and especially today I saw confidence when he threw the ball. It looked like from what I saw in highlights he is trusting himself more. The throw to clay was perfectly placed and he just let it go, threading it into Wallace 25 yards down field a thing of beauty. The play he pumped faked then rolled out and let go a perfect pass to Matthews just a few examples of how well he has done recently.

More and more I see him making quick confident decisions and trusting his arm to do what he wants, I really hope he continues to show an upwards trend because he being a guy who can throw in an occasionally gashing type run and now gaining confidence in his ability to throw makes him really fit today's NFL game.

Who really cares if he doesnt connect on another long ball all season? We dont need it.. Opposing defenses are having to worry about not being able to key in on any 1 offsenive Fin since Tanny distributes the ball as good as anyone right now... they also have to deal with our Read Option which Tanny is running to almost perfection.

I dont care about the Long ball and apparently neither does Lazor because we just arent calling it anymore... Play to our strengths not our weaknesses... I dont give a crap about the long ball anymore...

He has been playing much better since he started running the football.

That still cannot throw a deep ball.

Don't think it's hard to argue against the reality that Tannehill has been performing at Top 10 QB-level over at least 3.5 out of the last 5 games. That extrapolates out to slightly over 11 games out of every 16. Personally, I think he's only gonna get better, but going forward, I can certainly live with that.

Who the freaking Blipty Blip cares?????????????????

You see...some need something to....how do the kids say it these days...."hand their hat on"...the deep ball is that "crutch that will be used...even though it is rarely attempted and the team seems to be putting up points just fine without it.
