Last year, RT dropped back to pass 661 times. He was under pressure 222 of those times, which was #19 among QB's. He completed 44% of those throws (#21), and thew 5 TD's, with 10 picks. This was not good.

However, 17 of the 20 QB's ahead of him were vets. The others were Wilson, Foles, and RG3. Lazor worked wonders with Foles, who completed 48% and thew 3 TD, without a pick, under pressure.

I expect him to do the same this year with Tannehill, and then some as I believe RT has more talent than Foles.

He has immense talent and made great strides last year despite the one of the worst lines in the league. Hes going to be a stud. All his flaws can be taught and overcame

Thank the Football Gods that Lazor should be the one to bring that out of him.

Do you have a link for the article or did you get this from PFF? With all of the stuff you post from PFF you are really making me think about getting a subscription. (I know, I know I should re-up my VIP membership as well)

PFF, and what I post from them, in respect for the pay per view, is maybe 2% of what they provide. I do believe you would enjoy it but, to each their own.

Amen. Lazor worked wonders with Foles and i'm hoping for the same with Ryan. I'm still not happy with our boy wonder QB coach but maybe he'll learn from the new OC.

I'm not trying to down Lazor i like the guy a lot. How much of Foles production can be accredited to Lazor and how much to chip Kelly. And finally how much just to Foles himself?

No idea but, I do know that Lazor did him no harm in any way. Can't say that about our QB coach and OC. We shall see.

Not sure what to think on our QB coach. An OC is his boss, and will dictate what he wants. That was Sherman.

Never liked the hire your son in law approach but maybe without Sherman he'll get better.

Are you taking over from Shouwrong as the new stats guy ?

kidding, I like it because there is no long drawn out BS or pie charts plus you haven't done a single "it's all Tannehill's fault" poll

Tannehill's athleticism is definitely superior to Foles' without a doubt. At least he has the versatility factor of his game while Foles is more of a pocket passing "drone".

Stats are beneficial in putting thing in perspective, showing that what you thought you saw in highlights and lowlights are not the complete picture.

This is a fair example. Many look at the 58 sacks, and think RT was under the gun much more than any other QB but, in overall pressure, he was #19. There is more than just sacks.

Ryan is a very smart guy. I believe he can absorb all that Lazor will teach him. Maybe Lazor can get Ryan's deep ball passes under control.

To be fair the stat doesn't differentiate pressure from 1 guy from pressure from multiple areas. On many plays tannehill was pressured from both ends or 1 end and a tackle, etc. The line did him no favors

No, they do not. What do you want from them, a full coaches report? lol IMO, they are better than anything else out there, and add to fan's knowledge, although far from perfect.
