Tannehill upset with the way he has played

Who is surprised? He looks no different than his first game of his career. Average, mediocre QB.

Are you referring to the new ownership, inspiration of Jim Kelly, home opener or are you referring to any game at Buffalo because of their raucous crowd? I am trying to understand whether Philip Rivers is automatically doomed this weekend.

One would think that a September game at Buffalo was a blessing rather than a December game. Since the Dolphins lost by exactly the same number of points as last December's game when the Dolphins had every incentive to win and the Bills had none, there has been one constant - Tannehill played like garbage.

I am here to tell you people, once again, any QB playing in Buffalo under those circumstances would not have looked very good either.

Not making excuses for RT. He needs to play better and he has said so with authority. His OC has said he needs to be better.

If you see crap this weekend, then its time to worry, but none of this would be an issue if we had won sunday. That stadium in was rocking. The Bills pass rush got to us again. Any good we did, special teams f'd it all up.

quite frankly, I don't understand why that is not a bigger issue.

I love how the Tannehill supporters on this site can't realize he is not playing well, but Tannehill can see it in himself.

Unfortunately, the only thing he does that is like a franchise QB is accept responsibility. Other then that he shows no signs of being franchise QB material.

I love how you cant have an intelligent discussion with haters on this site that cant realize some people have a different opinion. No one said he wasn't playing well, but that also doesn't mean EVERY throw is his fault. But you want to pin everything on him. You even claim he's shown no signs of being franchise QB material. I agree he isn't there, but to say he's shown no signs is just as silly as saying he already is a franchise QB.

Could say the same for you.

I never said every throw was his fault.

Nice try bro

Nope, was a perfect throw! :p
It really was. Tannehill flicked it 50 yards in the air while on the run and knowing that he'll get hit. The pass falls right into Wallace's arms. No excuse he doesn't catch that. This particular pass is 100% on Wallace and if you asked him he'd tell you exactly this.

Make sure not to mistake patience for ignorance.

I don't care if you think you play bad or not. I just want you to win games on your own and carry us to the playoffs. Any scrub can say "My bad".

I'm going to call bullsh*t on that. If he'd said he thought he'd played great, you'd be even more upset.

If you watch the tape of the Buffalo game as someone who understands football, and not just some fan who plays Madden and Fantasy football and turns on the TV thinking that the QB just magically makes throws happen, you'll see a heck of a lot -- and understand that one of the better performing players on the field was Tannehill.

+ You'll see an OL get dominated for the most part, making some reads/throws impossible.
+ You'll see a disappearing act by Hartline, supposedly a great number 2 WR -- terrible separation, owned by Buffalo DBs. (How many years in the league. And how much money is he making to be a game-changer? And yet struggles worse than a rookie against good coverage -- still? Really?)
+ You'll see other WRs get exposed as marginal, unable to clearly beat tight man (Landry less so).
+ You'll see that Wallace was the only Miami WR consistently winning.
+ You'll see Clay majorly, majorly struggle against coverage -- horrible separation, slow feet, mediocre size, low physicality -- once again: exposed as a non-threat TE against higher level talent.
+ You'll see RBs miss plays in the passing game and get blown up in the running game: closed lanes and poor decisions.

To have the OL dominated and WRs, TEs and RBs simply unable to make that kind of coverage pay -- and yet put that loss on Tannehill... well, that pretty much tells me all I need to know about such posters on here.

Tannehill is a lone bright spot on this team. But Miami desperately needs interior OL help, better WRs at 2 and 3 who can make plays and make Ds pay for that kind of coverage. Miami needs a real TE who can't get consistently, physically owned by single coverage: a TE big enough to beat DBs and fast enough and quick enough to beat LBs. Miami needs a RB who can read, protect, and catch key passes without dropping the most important ones over and over again.

Simply put, this roster has some holdover holes from the Ireland regime. "Not bad" is pretty had when facing high caliber opponents.

People see what they want to see. I don't have to watch one second of the game to know what you are going to claim to "see."

I'm sure you also don't *see* the mind-numbing irony of your statement, either. lol

You're a lot better off making your statements if you don't watch one second of the game. Because you'll say the same thing whether you watch one second or one hour.

I thought the Bills had lost two of their best defenders in the LB Alonso and free agent S Byrd. And somehow defeating the Bills in Buffalo is more difficult than winning at Seattle or New Orleans.
