tannehill looks like the better qb in this vid. this is the first vid ive actually seen tannehill throwing it deep a few times with succuss.

I watched that game. And if I didn't know who was supposed to be who, I would have easily thought Tannehill was the more higly touted prospect. That being said ... it's only one game.

That's a good observation. I see it the same way.

I keep hearing about how much better than Luck he will do his rookie year. I would bet money that the Colts do better with Luck than the Redskins with rg3. The duet of Shanahan Sr and Shanahan jr does not look like it can handle adversity very well and neither does rg3.

Actually NFP has T/hill (7.0) rated closer to RG3(7.5) than RG3 was to Andrew Luck(9.0)

I would have been very happy with RG3 but considering the Aggie's coaching staff now here, its pro style offense, praise by the likes of Bill Pollian and McShay, and one of the higher Wonderlic scores, if Tannehill after making the adjustments, still turns out to be the bridesmaid of these 3, I suspect it might be by as little a margin as between Eli vs Big Ben vs Rivers.
 
liked what i saw from Tannie in this game... he was the better QB in this one. thanks for the post.
 
I remember watching this game, this isn't the first game I've notice Tanny under throwing the deep ball. Things like that get picked off in the NFL more often than not.

Nothing a little bit of coaching and practice can beef up. The talent is most definitely there.
 
Good lord A&M destroyed Baylor. Was this RG3's worst game? He looked pretty average.
 
Griffin played well in this game.. So did Tannehill. This was R.T. best game passing wise of the season.

That being said. Baylor defense is TERRIBLE. Absolutely terrible. A&M defense wasn't great either, but Baylor defense was one of the worst in the nation.

I'm hoping we made the right decision, I have faith that Joe Phiblin and M.S. know what they are doing and made the right decision. All 3 of these Qbs seem like great guys, so hopefully they all have successful careers.
 
I've seen this game before and the biggest thing that struck me was how bad RG3 was at feeling the pressure and working the pocket. I'm still shocked at how the media doesn't see him as a huge project, moreso than Tannehill.
 
All three will need time to adjust.

Luck comes across as a dofus in the personality and speaking department. He has the skills and physical ability.

RG III is the more frail of the three, but he can pass the ball down field excellently and has the scrambling ability to get out of trouble. If he starts taking hits...it won't look good for him.

RT has a lot of good qualities and measurables, just not a lot of proven game production. He needs some training camps, and let his confidence grow and let the game slow down for him.
 
RG3 is going to have more opportunity in the short term. I hope the long term outlook for Tannehill is as fine as his wife.
 
The thing that jumped out to me was how bad the Baylor D was. Wow. Did anyone notice how far the running backs were getting before any defender was even close. Tanny has a gun. He was making some tough throws across the field, but I didn't love the long ball. As someone noticed above, under thrown on both TDs.
