I've watched both picks over and over. I don't understand how the referee missed the pass interference that caused Cameron to knock that ball into the air. Tannehill put the ball right on his hands.

The second interception appeared to be a clear miscommunication between Tannehill and Cameron. But Tannehill and the receivers need to review some of the hot route or outlet route combinations. I noticed he missed Miller on a drag route earlier in the half where Miller cut inside and Tannehill threw behind him to the outside. I think Tannehill got rid of that ball a bit early, but it was interesting because Miller wasn't even looking for the ball until after he cut.

I didn't get to watch much of the second half of the game. Did the communication issues seem to get resolved in the second half?

IMO, a QB who ends up winning big, posting a 75.9 completion percentage, throwing 2 TDs and guiding the O to 4 TDs gets a pass on a couple INTs.

Marino threw plenty of picks. No one minded. "No picks" was the mantra of a failed HC; it's obvious that Tannehill felt empowered to take some chances today, and did. I salute him.

well said.

Regardless of the mistakes that were made, This game is what Coach Dan Campbell meant by "Cutting it Loose"!!! leave it all on the field offense and defense! Bravo Zulu to coach Campbell and staff. PHINS UP!!

being there it looked like cameron ducked away from the second int. it happened right in front of me. the first should have been a pi. cameron didnt play well today over all thou

Cameron didn't duck away, he was running to the open area away from the safety and behind the LB. It looked like Tannehill thought Cameron was going to either sit or curl in front of the safety.

It was a miscommunication between two players who saw things differently on the play.

The first INT was really nobody's fault. It definitely was a PI. Maybe if Tannehill throws a tad earlier Cameron might have been still open but honestly I can overlook a lot of these things today because Tannehill did something today I was screaming for: go deep in a clutch play.

First interception was a combination of great defensive play and getting away with pass interference, IMO. Sometimes you just have to credit the defense, kind of like I do for the Grimes INT.

Second interception, even if it was a miscommunication... throw looked late.

Batted balls that turn into picks happen. Receivers running the other way on patterns leading to ints happen. Not mad at Tannehill on either play. Big win. Clean it up. Move on.

Cane hit the nail on the head.

He lead the O to 30 points, had a few deep balls thrown perfectly, went deep to Stills in the endzone and it was a beauty, he showed more today than I've seen in awhile.

Definitely a miscommunication. It was an option route where Cameron had a choice of hooking our continuing the drag toward the sideline. I thought that one was on Tannehill if, for no other reason, with time running out, you want to go with the route that is heading toward the sideline, not the one that will definitely get stopped in the middle of the field.

The throw to Stills for 35-40 yds was the throw of the yr so far for Tannehill. That was big.

Agree but if Cameron turns around then it is a completion to the middle of the field and then have time to spike the ball.. Like you said miscommunication.
