130.9 quarterback rating.

It's going to take more than six quarters for me to consider saying he turned his season around after the first few games.

I just said this in the R Thill thread, 6 awesome quarters in a row

That's fair...really if you add the Raiders game he's starting to get the offense. Two bad quarters against Green Bay is the issue in the last 3 games. Still, what have we scored...38, 24 and 27 in the last 3 games...that's pretty solid IMO.

I just saw a stat that Ryan Tannehill has over a 100 passer rating in 10 of his past 12 quarters.

Forward progress. We gotta stomp Jacksonville. Got to.

not bad...

Still not sold on him as a long term answer until he starts showing that fire, but he's statistically doing much better. The running is helping his confidence I think.

what the hell is that supposed to mean? So tannehill wasn't good today because he wasn't screaming around like an idiot or something? Guess Messi isn't a good soccer player because he's always composed...

He's getting better, no doubt, but he there's a still a lot of room for improvement, like taking the sack last week to keep the clock moving and keeping on that third and goal in the 4th quarter. I know it's picky but his accuracy could still improve a little and notice how they don't even call long pass plays. I hope No. 17 is our long term answer at QB, I saw No. 13 in his prime, Tannehill has potential and I hope he turns the corner but he's not there yet. But progress is good.

I didn't realize until stumbling onto a report yesterday that Philbin may have fired Sherman but he refused to let Lazor replace any of his position coaches. And that includes Sherman's son in law Zac Taylor who has been learning on the fly with no prior qualifications. So the assumption that he must be good because Lazor, a QB guru decided to retain him is BS. Essentially both the OC and QB are saddled with this poser, so more kudos to Tannehill for achieving what he has, very likely despite novice if not poor position coaching.

Vaark, I mentioned this yesterday but not sure if you saw it.

Zac Taylor is basically a gofer now. He's doing statistical analysis on fumble recoveries and charting tendencies in the booth. Lazor is on the sideline because he is the quarterbacks coach now.

Jags got their win today...so a little less pressure on both sides. Jags to get the first win, Dolphins to not lose to a winless team.

This makes me feel a lot better about things. Zac Taylor is garbage.
