Posted this in the other thread you decided to derail. Though you would find it funny:
Ah, the wonderful use of ad hominem to obfuscate the point of the thread. The point of the thread being that Tannehill has performed adequately against the good opposing QB's TEAM, not the good opposing QB directly. And since there is a correlation between being a top tier QB and being on a top tier team, it is quite simply deduced that Tannehill has outperformed his average play against better teams.
Further, nowhere in OP's post was he answering or trying to understand an effect or phenomenon created by the circumstances of adequate play in games against good QB's, or that adequate QB play from Tannehill is caused by playing a team with a top tier QB. OP was merely stating what his stats are against teams that have better QB's. Thus, "causality" is misused, as this thread was focused on a dry stats when facing a top tier QB's teams. Any correlation from causality is simply in your own mind.
It was fun having you while it lasted, though. Fun to reply to posts when people miss the point on threads and keep digging holes. In your defense, there certainly are a lot of stat correlations going on recently, but that's the fun in having a team who is decent mid-way through the season.
