Andrew Abramson@AbramsonPBP 1h1 hour ago Tannenbaum says it's "100 percent" about best player available in the draft.

Now does that mean BPA available no matter what, or BPA according to the teams needs? Just once can I get that follow up question in a news conference?

It could be an olineman but I'm hoping for a WR. Have to get the replacement for Wallace now since he'll be gone in 2016

Ozzy rules!!

seriously... What does Hickey do during his work shift?

well as long as mister queasy ain't drafting players i'm not as worried.

Tannenbaum is running the team. Make no mistake. All that talk of shared responsibility and who is above or below was just to satisfy the fans/media.
I think this could mean Hickey's and Queasy's departure after the season if there is any interest. Their "feelings" might be hurt.
Joe would be a fool to leave this job willingly. Hickey would likely land on his feet as a GM.
Just my .02

Exactly. I knew this **** was gonna happen. Even in the press conference last night, tanne bu am was saying how hard it was for him, to negotiate with suhs agent. Why the freak was he negotiating if he isn't taking Hickeys job? And Some people actually thought he wasn't going to do this, lol

LOL - don't be surprised we take a tradedown draft a DT / ILB and a WR at our spot in rd 2 -
- we stop the run in our division and crash the pocket there is little QB competition outside Brady and Brady get happy feet when he cannot step up - he relies on crossing patterns opening up as he holds onto the ball for 6 seconds and the slants pass (in lieu of the run)

If they work well together then it should be helpful to have both men on the job. Maybe some checks and balances to avoid another wheeler type signing.

Tannebaum is Ross' BFF. We all saw this coming, as did Hickey, but Hickey shouldn't have any trouble finding a new job next year.
I also can't imagine Philbin was even slightly on board with signing Suh!
I know it's not his decision, but did his opinion hold any weight, or did Tannebaum even ask him?

Yeah, it sure seemed like Hickey might as well not have been at the press conference yesterday. I do recall Tannenbaum at least saying the draft was Hickey's deal.
