The fanbase was ready to burn Jeff Ireland at the stake and even paid for planes to fly around the stadium begging to fire him for his continued incompetence. But you know what? He at least found enough talent on the team to keep it slightly below average. It was still a clown show, but the talent level was high enough to almost be competitive.

Now in comes Tannenbaum who already has a proven history of running the Jets straight into the ground. Ross sneaks this buffoon into the job over the first seemingly competent GM we've had in ages, and he immediately starts doing what he does best. Our team goes from slightly below average to bottom-feeder extraordinaire. Yeah we're competing now alright, we're competing for that #1 overall draft pick. Then we somehow pull a victory out of our asses against a blown-the-****-up cleveland browns team who has no kickers, a 3rd string QB, and a #1 WR who spends half the game subbing in for said 3rd string QB, thus losing ground even in that competition.

Overly negative perspective? I don't think so! I haven't even gotten to the BEST part yet!
Tannenbaum somehow did all this WHILE MORTGAGING AWAY OUR FUTURE. Future draft picks traded. Absurd veteran contracts given. Money deferred on contracts. Homegrown talent let walk.

And for some reason... most people just don't care.

"Tannehill sucks"
"Our defense sucks"
"Our o-line sucks"
"Our linebackers suck"
"Our CBs suck"
"Gase sucks"

Some or even all of those may be true.
And yet none of them to compare to the sucktitude that is Mike Tannebaum.

But let me tell you. Tannenbaum is probably going to outlive them all. He's got those ready made excuses for Ross. "We were rebuilding (whoops I traded away all our building blocks, let's just blame coaching)" "We don't have the players yet" "We need to draft a new QB so we'd better spend an entire draft to trade up for the next Mark Sanchez soon" "Coffee boy Grier didn't keep my mug filled so I couldn't work properly"

There is absolutely no hope until this fraud is kicked out of the building. Period.

Stephen Ross put a top on the stadium while pushing the franchise to the bottom of the entire league. Kill the head of the beast if you want to finally stop the horror.

That's because everyone has been arguing over Tannehill. I see that starting to change though as more and more are seeing what he is. It will start turning to Tannebaum very soon.

That sounds frighteningly familiar to keeping the low and middle classes fighting so the upper class gets away with anything.

I feel like Tannebaum gets plenty of hate on the board. However, I also don't think anyone was on board with him, so it's a given that he sucks.

It's obvious already with the Maxwell/Alonso trade that Tannebum is going to push his type of players on the HC regardless of if they fit the system or not. Where did we see this before? This **** starts with Ross! The big eared clown gets enamored with someone like Tannebum and decides to hire him regardless of how wrong he is for the team. Ross is dreadful and the team follows. Look at the leagues best teams and they all have a good owner. This crap Ross doesn't get involved with the team makes him a good owner couldn't be more wrong. His committees, the way he hires a GM or HC is just plain wrong, what involvement he does have is crushing! You think Bob Craft needs a committee to make a simple hire?

Can anyone name a position that was strengthened by Tannenbaum? One could argue WR, but without the Silver Fox's Landry pick it would be garbage too. Tannenbaum has managed to weaken every position on the squad, including the DL, while spending outrageous money on it.

If you guys will take notice...nobody gets fired in the NFL anymore. Coaches and Administrators who fail in one City just relocate to another with only the stable/winning franchises keeping the brass. Every other team is on the carousel and the pieces get moved around. Ask yourself...Where is Joe Philbin? Where is Tony? Where is Cam Cameron?

I think we all despise him but also see the reality in that Ross seems to want him around and thats frightening. in other words we are stuck with him and we see the result.
