Anybody think McEvoy could be a nice utility piece on Sundays, could play wr, emergency qb if active qbs go down, emergency safety, special teams ace and even play Gesicki's role as a big/mobile receiving tight end. Sure McEvoy can't block like a tight end but at this stage neither can Gesicki. During his brief NFL and college career he's taken snaps at qb, wr, and safety, while also having special teams experience. Could be a modern day Jim Jensen.

Uh, the guy is a 6’6 WR.

I’d say he may have his uses.

Yes my original point is he's a receiver with experience at qb and safety and could likely play flex tight end in a pinch too. Actually his most valuable usage would likely be on special teams.

He is young and can still improve, I think his ceiling/goal should be more than special teams

I wrote this in another thread.

How about a bunch formation with Gesicki, McEvoy and Grant?

No chance to press Grant and are you going to put CB’s on two 6’6” guys? If they pull LB’s over then it sets up a run the other way. Seems like it would put a defense in quite a conflict and could see Grant being open nearly every time.
