Here are the stats comparing come from behind victories. Now there's alot of variables to consider and its based on fielders entire career but you also have to realize the crappy recievers, oline, running backs fiedler had. Also, Tanny has been going backwards lately(imo has alot to do with coaching and contract extension) but I think its time to cut the cord and many qbs have been giving shorter leashes then Tanny. IMO with a legit coaching staff and hopefully new GM, you will see a new qb or at least competition despite the contract. As has been reported, there will be massive changes in players and the front office come next year.

If you believe this "(imo has alot to do with coaching and contract extension)" why do "cut the cord"? Essentially both are coaching.

How do you feel about Tanny vs Woodley incidentally.

The only thing that Jay Fiedler and Ryan Tannehill have in common is that at some point in time both have played the QB position for the Miami Dolphins. Fiedler was not even half the QB that Tannehill is.

It's Fiedler btw, not Fielder.

^^^^ HALF really? Not sure if you're overselling Tannehill or underrating Fiedler but I think they are closer than you are making it out to be

Not really Fiedler only had one year he went over 2400 yards. He normally barely broke 2k yards. Averaged less than 15 touchdowns. He had one good year that year he had 3290 Yards, 20 TD, 19 Int. Likely a bit of a exaggeration but not that far off.

Fiedler was not a good Qb, he was a backup that we decided to play as our starter. He gave his all and had alot of heart but the truth is he held this team back esp the lack of arm strength.
If we have a good qb with Ricky Williams we are a playoff team

Fiedler was 13 games over .500 and QB'd us to our last playoff victory. However I agree with you that he did suck. I think half as good as Tannehill is giving Tannehill too much credit imo

Wins are a team stat in reality.

Hahaha. Damn did I hit the nail on the head. Another meaningless QB vs Tannehill thread. Quick someone start a Harrington vs Tannehill thread, another start a Green vs Tannehill thread, and a Huard vs Tannehill thread..... And so on.

And who's Fielder?

Not if your making an argument against Tannehill. Lol. Then it's either Tannehills fault or the fans fault.

And that was the game back then. Those stats were Fairly admirable during that time frame. You only had a handful of QBs that threw for 3k and 30tds. With that being said one certainly cannot compare stats from the early 2000's to stats after 2010.

Well, in that last playoff victory, Fiedler threw 1 TD and 3 INTs and had a running back who ran for 209 yards including the winning score in OT. Not sure Fiedler really "QB'd" us to that win.

Need to add Buttfumble so this thread can reach 30 pages....
