Was bored, so I go OnDemand and look through the NFL Network stuff, and look at Patriots All Acces Pro Bowl. Basically the show followed the Patriots coaching staff around the week of the Pro Bowl. They interview all these players and they are basically all kissing Belechicks behind. Polamalu says how it was an honor to be coached by him. Ed Reed saying he's a great guy. One scene has BB talking to Ed Reed and saying all he would need would be "these 2 corners and you would be all in need". 2 corners being Mcallister and Bailey. Then there is one scene where Bulger tries to throw a WR screen and JT jumps up and blocks it, and BB and Manning are standing on the sideline, and BB laughs says to him "You can't throw that on him, trust me I know from experience, you cant beat him on that". very complimentary, then the next scene shows both of them patting each other and buddy buddy on the sidelines. Then they interview Jt in the locker room and qoute "It was great to finally be on his team, I've been telling Brady forever I would rather work with them instead of against them". Maybe it means nothing, but hearing that come out of JT's mouth made me sick. Thats why we could never cut him even for cap reason, because I have no doubts he would go straight to NE.

well 3 rings who doestn wna play there? they keep winnin with average players we kepe losign with good players. its lal b/c of 1 Qb and 1 HC.

Uh-oh.

With the amount of backlash Wes Welker got for his comments bout his lack of loylty and dissing the Phins. I wonder how much flack Taylor will get on this board.

I mean, after all, that is similar to what Welker said.

LOL! I personally have no problem with players saying that. Nothing wrong with dmiration and respect amongst players and coaches

LOL Average players. Their roster is way more talented then ours. We would kill for any of their D-line and O-line. Dont fall into that trap of they have nobodies.

You know that crafty Belichick. I bet he purposely lost the Colts game so he could coach Taylor in the Pro Bowl and lure him away. :groucho:

JT is paid well in Miami and really likes it here. The nice life he has down there, his yacht, home, nice weather, his foundation that he has said he wants to make into a legacy the way Dan Marino did with his..... I think he is more focused on bringing some rings to Miami. Kraft spent some money in free agency, but really to get some offense to New England.

It was just a comment in the moment. It's not hard to understand... The oP shouldnt look into this as JT changing loyalties... Just likey JT making comments about being with BB at the pro bowl... nothing really.

i didnt say no bodies. that team made the players who they are. they are average guys that ownt impact another team the way they do there. they are players for the RIGHT system.

but you said we keep losing with good players while they win with average players. What i get from that comment is that you actually believe our players are more talented then theirs, where as I could argue along with probabably 95% off nfl scouts that their units are better then ours. Their o-line is better then ours, their d-line is better then ours, Lb's are better, and when Eugene Wilson and Harrison are healthy their secondary is better then ours. The thing about us is we only have a couple of good players so they get more attention where as the Pats have so much talent that not everyone gets recognized. Thats why their backup tight end from last year is now the second highest paid TE in the league, and he's was probably their 3rd most talented TE on that roster behind Watson and David Thomas.

dude, even with Adalius Thomas, i'd still take Taylor, Thomas, Crowder and Porter ANY DAY against ANY TEAM.

JT is more of a DE then an actual LB, and your completely overating Crowder.Colvin and Thomas on the edges and Vrable and Bruschi on the inside is a beter crew then ours, lets be reallistic. Especially considering none of our LB's are that good in the coverage department. Lets remember the Pats had the #2 D in the league last year with both starting safties out. they got better this off season as well. I think our D will be very good, but the age scares me especially one the DL (and please no one tell me how Roth is a monster, and we have evans and wright, because everyone knows that we have no idea if these guys are capable of playing in the nFL, except for roth who hasn't exactly done anything to stick out.

Ahhh, the zoo. Occasionally you come down here, ingest the fumes of nonsense and then head back to the real world.

My work here is done.
