Does anyone think that Taylor, McMicheal, or Booker could be cut in order to get under the cap? If all three were cut, it would save us roughly 12 million which could be huge due to the lack of a new CBA agreement. I would like to keep all three of these guys, but there are articles all over the place that says there will be suprise cuts all over the league if a new agreement isn't reached.

Absolutely not. McMichael just got a contract extension last season. Taylor is going to be asked to restructure. And cutting Booker would be too big of a cap hit (nearly 3 mil)

If you look at the salary cap page on this site it says there is a 3 million savings not penatly to cutting booker. These three guys would have the highest savings from anyone on the team, not counting Tebucky who is almost surely gone.

NO WAY....NO HOW...NOT A CHANCE IN HELL! THose guys are MIAMI DOLPHINS.(taylor & Mcmichael) Some guys are just NOT releaseable.

Booker...maybe.

I could see Booker geting cut. I dont want him to but if there is no CBA....

I think there is a good chance that Booker gets cut considering the report that the phins have agreed in principle to a contract with Kelly Campbell and are waiting to see if there will be an extention or not before making it official.

As of right now we are probably around 18 million over the cap which we have to be under by next week. That is not even counting the money we will have to spend on free agents and eventually draft picks. Whether people here want to admit it or not, cutting Tebucky, Seau, and Frerotte only saves us about 13 million and there will be atleast one suprise cut from this team and the three guys I listed would give us the biggest savings.

Cutting Booker would save us $3 mil.
Cutting JT would save us $5,336,002.
Cutting McMike would save us $4,088,000

I don't see us releasing any of them though.

There will be a surprise cut on the Fins....if there is no CBA. There is no way around it....a high profile big name player will be let loose.

Cant cut the heart of the offense, and cut the the heart of the defense. As for Booker I would like to see him again but whatevers good for the team.
