CoC tells it like it is. Moving WS to RG would take time - it cannot be done overnight or in just a week. The blocking assignments for a RG are TOTALLY different than they are for a LT.

Just because you can do it on your PS2 does not mean that it will work realistically!

It really makes me wonder if some of you have ever played football before or if you have just watched it all of your life.

And Wade Smith belongs at UPS, not in the NFL. He shouldn't be on the field period.

Dude, the Dolphins Oline aren't the most gifted line in the NFL, but when The frikking Bengals can penetrate from every angle for four quarters, and when every man on the Oline doesn't know who to block...that is bad coaching
 
In watching more Wade plays from cinci I found out how slow he is off the snap. You will notice it if you do frame by frame review. I'm now on the first possesion to start quarter 3 and on one of the plays the ball is snapped and everyone on the team is moving except Wade...it took 11 (yes eleven frames) for him to be out of his sstance, and when i say out of his stance, I mean for his hand to no longer be in contact with the ground. It was wierd, the whole team is firing out, the WRS are taking off, the D is attacking and he is in his 3 point stance...very weird.
 
Does it bother any of you that the ex-line coach from the Fins is credited with having the best OL in the league? Oh, and they don't have any dominant players....

And before anyone jumps on Wanny, JJ fired him.

didnt some one say that the look on his face during the game was like someone who got lit earlier? im not saying he blazed up but isnt your reaction time slower if u smoke enough?

AMEN BROTHER!

No one has a clue what kind of physical talent anyone on the o-line has because they are getting scorched before they ever even make contact. None of them know who to block or where they should be. Repeated Mental Mistakes = Poor Coaching! I will never be convinced that the idiot mistakes that our line keeps making and have been making since Shula left are anything other than a lack of coaching.

Have you ever noticed how many times we start out 1st & 15 or 20? Have you noticed how many critical drives are killed by penalties? There is no accuracy nor precision on our offense! Accuracy and precision are a direct result of focused practice - which we obviously have not had enough of!

If you read my post fully I wasnt trying to compare madden with "real life" :rolleyes: I just thought I would share because i moved him to RG in madden...

Also, I played football for 8yrs, played OL and LB lol in the Cities league. Played TE/DE/LB for pop warner. Played QB/RB/Saftey in HS. I had to quit do to injuries... :( Damn concusions...



Plus ive been a miami fan since I could remember.... runs in the fam... training camps, preseason, and games...


READ before you post man, also remember, thinking out loud through our posts is what makes this site so popular. Plus the great articles and News ;)

I did not read your post at all. I was not making any refereence to what you wrote, but you took offense to that. Sorry to offend you.

You stated that you "played football for 8yrs, played OL and LB lol in the Cities league. Played TE/DE/LB for pop warner. Played QB/RB/Saftey in HS", then you should know that each position has a different job - different assignments. That is my point.
 
BigFan, I'm glad you're happy with how the line is playing. Desperate times call for desperate measures. This situation is at an all time low and Carey, our #1 was inactive? WTF

LOL....I moved Carey to right guard, traded Whitley for a pick and I have Smith and St. Clair at right tackle (I never run right and I used a #1 on a right tackle)...just thought I'd share.

It's a sad day when the only football you can look forward to is Madden '05...

We wait 9 months.....for this. Now we have to wait 12 more months to jhave any hope what so ever...

The Wanny era is ending though...
