This has got to be one of the worst calls I've ever seen. How do you get that wrong?
First they call it a pick 6, then the head ref comes in and says incomplete.
Then it's reviewed and it's TOTALLY obvious he catches it and was tackled down. After down for 1-2 seconds, Bell strips it into the air for Taylor to pickup.

I still think we would have won without that TD, but you can make the argument we wouldn't of.

Either way, how do you review it, and then give it to Miami?

It's nice to get a break, but it was total BS, even as a finfan, the call should of been a completetion for a first down.

Sorry Bucs fans, we don't have to explain this, but the NFL needs to.

Poor Raheem getting the penalty too. I would of been even more pissed than him and got ejected, maybe ***** slapped the head ref too.

Miami has come up on the short end of the stick a lot this year as far a reffing goes. I was glad to see a big one finally go our way.

The way profootballtalk.com explained it, it was a good call!

thanks for link, i understand his explanation..
and i know that the ref's called it incomplete

STILL after review you can see he catches it, goes to the ground with the ball after being tackled, then 2 seconds into him on the floor, he rolls over someone strips it and pops into taylors hands.

I've looked at this replay 20+ times in the past hour, and to me, it's obvious he's down with possesion.

I hope these refs get suspended or fined or something

No way dude. I watched it over and over also. It was a good call, EXCEPT JT should've been credited with a TD. The receiver only got one foot down as he was catching the ball and therefore never had full possession. Yes, the ground cannot cause a fumble, but he NEVER had possession, so it wasn't a fumble. It would have been an incomplete pass had JT not made that sweet *** INTERCEPTION.

Sorry, but one foot down, elbow & backside down means complete pass. It clearly bounced out after he hit the ground. The only part the caller got wrong was 2 feet down. his left foot never touched the gound until he rolled over - and that view is obscured by the ref. The ball clearly came out after he contacted the ground.

I can see why Morris was so pissed with the call. The refs blew that one. Shoulda been 1st down to the bucs.

I still don't see how we got away with that one. Let's face it, if it happened to us, this board would be fuming for the officiating crew's heads.

No one likes missed calls.

But, as a long time fan of this team, we need something to go our way. lol

They called it correctly according to the rule, which states that you must keep possession through the act of making the catch and going to the ground - gotta hang on to it while you're rolling on the ground - the play doesn't end when your knee/shoulder/elbow touch the ground, according to the rule as it is currently.

I think this rule may be modified in the off-season - personally I'm a bigger fan of the "if you're down and have possession it's a catch" but this one worked in our favor, so I'm not complaining.

I watched the play in a sport's bar and I still don't know exactly what happened, and probably don't want to know.....I just feel it is about time we had a play go our way. It seems like whenever we have a chance to get an INT or we have a great chance to pick up a fumble we totally screw it up....it is like the football almost always bounces the wrong way. Ahhh well....bring on the Panthers.

You may need to look at it for the 21st time, as he was going down, the ball was moving, it was never a full catch.

Bad call, but it went our way an i won't complain. we had bad calls in the NO game that cost us a game and im sure we will again in the future. just take it when you get it and complain when it goes the other way.
