TBS hires Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn

Two good hires. I'm just glad that ESPN has no postseason baseball anymore!! TBS will do a good job. Chip Carey and Tony Gwynn is a good broadcasting team.

Two bad they can't get rid of the two idiots who do FOX baseball every week. I can't wait to hear the same Tim McCarver stories in a few weeks followed by consist mispronouning names (Brendan Arroyo anyone?), clearly cheering with which team he wants to win during the game, and basically just sucking. Oh yeah Joe Buck is pretty bad too but I forgive him a bit for his "Slam-a-lama-Ding-Dong" beer commericals in 2004.

Chip is pretty good, I hear him all the time living in the ATL. I have always liked Tony, although it will be a little wierd hearing him call postseason games.
