Training Camp is over. Now it's game practice.
I think they have afternoon practices now, and reporter access is more limited.

That won't happen until after the final preseason game. Tuesday of week after the final preaseason game if I am not mistaken...

August 26th: first cuts. Teams must get to 75 players.
August 30: final cuts. Teams must get to 53 players.

For the first time in a long time I'm gutted just thinking about some of the players we'll need to let go. Especially if we carry 3 QBs. If it weren't for the suspensions even Fede would probably have to go.
And yeah the media thought they were done with media accessibility but the team is allowing them to cover a practice this week.

I wonder what day of the week philbin will let the players have off, during the regular season.
Don't see us carrying 3 QBs. I also think we see some surprise cuts like possibly Sturgis, Dallas Thomas (if he has another terrible game), Philip Wheeler (alright, that may be wishful thinking on my part but I wouldn't keep him over McCain, Tripp, Jenkins or Trusnik given Trusnik's contribution on special teams).
I don't believe the team would cut Dallas Thomas in year 2. Who do you keep over him? Sam Brenner might be a bubble guy
Depends on what other teams release but, why would you keep a guy who last year looked like he didn't belong in the NFL and again against Tampa looked like he doesn't belong on an NFL roster? It would be John Benton's call but Dallas Thomas wasn't drafted by Hickey so he probably won't get the benefit of doubt here.

This. We are going to cut some guys that belong in the league this year. Especially at WR, across the D-line, and perhaps at CB.
This team will keep 9 db's....I don't think there much to worry about who gets released...

IMHO we have 11 DB's that are 53 worthy. Grimes, Taylor, Finnegan, Davis, Aikens, Delmas, Jones, Wilson, Thomas, Jones, and Brown. I'm not sweating cutting th guys we are going to have to cut, but IMHO they belong in the league, and I think that speaks well that we are finally building up talent in Davie. I live for the day we are having this conversation about O-linemen though.... :-)
