TC : This Team Looks Good....

I just got back from camp, and instead of going into a long, play by play review, I'll just say that this team looks good. Not great, not bad, but good....

The tempo at camp is what really stands out in my opinion. Today the OL / DL were hard at work, and drilling like crazy, same goes for the secondary. Saban was working with them at the start of camp, and his "hands on" approach has got to have some positive effects in the long run. He's like a tutor out there....

The QB's look "good". I really can't tell who is looking better right now. There was a long pass for Booker, and after the incomp, he came up lame. He looked fine after he walked it off so don't worry...

I like the way the OL is working. There are actually holes for the RB this year. I have a good feeling that Houck may end up being our most valued off-season addition. He's certainly got them playing with more emotion, and good punch off the line in my opinion. When I compare the 2004 OL, to the one shaping up right now{at about the same time last year}, I see a big difference in the two. They just seem to be giving more effort....

I'm not much for the play by play review, but like I said, what I saw today was solid. The team looks good....

I love to hear that the Oline looks good, since that's where everything stems from. The fact that they look solid now, this early in camp is a good sign.

I also was glad to hear that both of the QB's look solid. IMO, Feeley just needs some confidence and some good blocking. If the Oline improves, I see feeley stepping up this year.
