SInce we drafted what looks to be a pretty good inline TE in Arthur Lynch, how about signing a FA seam buster in Blake Annen?

6-4, 250 lbs, listed at 4.41 40.

I wanted him with a late pick, aware of those numbers. Lightly used in the passing game at Cincinnati last year. They had him blocking, for some reason. I thought that pushed his reputation lower than it should be.

Annen signed with the Eagles last night

We signed Gator Hoskins, who sounds like he could fit the same profile. His scouting report reads very similar to Charles Clay, which may actually work against him making the roster (though not the PS), as I doubt we could keep two TE's on the roster who aren't really true TE's that can in-line block.
