He is the best tight end available next year. Getting rid of Randy for Eric Johnson would be an upgrade. That should be on the top priority list this offseason

Daniel Graham is available as well

and you should start counting all the dropped balls and fumbles Randy has made since he got here.

And you should learn about the workings of the salary cap.

Some details to backup your comments would be nice.

Ok, taking the entire salary cap hit next season from Randy's bonus, and then spending more money to sign a TE who may or may not get re-signed by his current team wouldn't be prudent. Eric Johnson isn't an upgrade over McMichael anyways, it'd be a push, and McMichael(unlike Johnson) has never had any serious injuries.

If you want the exact salary cap numbers just go to the salary cap forum, but I know it wouldn't be good for the team to cut Randy.

Yeah not very smart, considering that your boy from Frisco has been hurt for the past 2 full seasons. McMike is just fine.

Nicely put! After watchin the game yesterday, i would be happy to see McMicheal replaced but it wont happen because of other issues like the salary cap, and findin a team to take him. But when i came back to reality, McMicheal is fine and well get better.

IF I remember correctly the dolphins don't have to take the full cap hit if they trade under the new agreement
