According to fflivewire.com undrafted free agent signings, the Dolphins have signed TE Matt Mulligan who played collegiately at University of Maine and OL Daren Heerspink who played collegiately at Portland State
 
Why is Big Tuna hitting the ivy and Division III colleges as heavy as he has been? I hope he knows what he is doing... :rolleyes2:

He could be an O-line project if he could put on some weight. The article linked said he's working on his long snapping.
 
I find it ironic that Jerry Glanville is the Head Coach at Portland State and Mouse Davis (architect of the run and shoot offense) is the O-Coordinator there.
 
its obvious why Parcells is going after these small town schools...its cuz those guys are Parcells guys!

Daren Heerspinks' Pro Day results: Height: 6'6 5/8" Weight: 310 ......40 time: 5.3 seconds. Bench press reps: 22 ......Broad jump: 8'2" . Was a former d-lineman before moving to the o-line.

I don't think you know what your talking about. Maine is Division 1 AA and currently has roughly 10 players in the NFL not to bad for a "Divion III"
