This guy will catch everything thrown his way in the Redzone. He is a good receiver and can also block. Look for Martin to have an instant impact for the Dolphins IMO.:dolphins::ninja::dolphins:

I remember watching him on a Monday night game during his rookie year - he made a diving downfield over the shoulder catch. Next morning, everyone in my fantasy league was trying to pick him up. I think he'll be as productive as McMichael and is far less expensive. I liked McMike, but we need to clear some $$$ - Martin is a good player.

Yeah I actually think he's a pretty underrated signing. The notion I've got off him (from Green bay fans) is that he's pretty talented as far as being a pass catching TE(which is all what McMike was good at really, so think of Martin being just a cheaper Randy McMicheal) concerend but that's he's had problems staying healthy.

If you ask Packers fans they'll tell you they liked him over the U's own Bubba Franks..

If he can stay healthy he can be solid.

he catches the ball with his hands and not his chest!!!!!

I hope he has a great year and turns out to be better then Bubba Franks and McMichael

Not excited about Martin in the least, but as a low budget McMichael he can be ok. basically just an overweight WR that plays TE because he is too slow and fat to play WR. Hopefully a young guy steps up. martin is actually older than McMichael and has done alot less in this league. After 7 seasons I don't expect him to be good all of a sudden like some people.

Maybe, but i gaurrantee we will be getting another one.

Also, no body remembers the TD he scored against us last year i guess.

The fact that I hate Chris Berman aside, please never refer to a Dolphins player as "My favorite Martin." That name has always and will always be associated with Curtis Martin. That's the enemy in case you didn't know. :)
