I still think about Hard Knocks and how Sherman called out Egnew in film study. It is real hard for me to believe that the proper chain of authority didn't know. It is easier to digest that they turned a blind eye. Even their statements yesterday made no sense. One minute stating they were not aware/don't tolerate that, the next suspending Incognito.

I will say this, try to recruit Free Agents next year and see how tough it will be, esp on the OL. OL will want to know what changes have been made and will only see a clearing of the house as an attempt.

Considering that the alleged harassment came via texts and voicemail, and that the team did an immediate about-face after demanding and then being supplied with proof, I do think it's possible that the team was in the dark here.

I don't necessarily believe it, but it's plausible.

The team was very much in the dark, OTHER than the fact Martin went to Philbin in the spring and told him he had a serious problem. Now allegedly Philbin told Martin he would handle it and it was at that time handled.

I think with Martin's bad play that Incognito might have started back up again, and it could be the running and telling on him made it worse. Bully's hate being told on.

Whatever it was got much worse since the 3-0 start than it was before. And whatever it was, via text and voicemail, Philbin had no clue it was still going on. I for sure believe if he knew, based on his personality and previous decisions, he would have stepped in and stopped it.

The culture sucks. Ross needs to cut the head off the snake and clean house. Philbin didn't want vocal leaders, well he got his wish and now look what he has...

We don't know that the team didn't know.

Joe Philbin has some 'splainin' to do.

Reguardless of the out come of this fiasco I feel Ross needs to send a statement. There is no way that this type I harassment went in and no one in authority knew it was going on. Ireland and Philbin have to be let go after this. They had to know. Martin should have let the higher ups know this was going on. If he did and they know they all shall be gone.

i highly doubt that Philbin was aware this issue had gotten so out of hand, that's why they have so many other coaches on the staff, to monitor and provide feedback to the HC...at some point the communication didn't make it up the chain of command...just my guess. Philbin is to much of a high character man to let something like that go on (my opinion).

Somebody has to go though....Martin appears to be done, Richie should be on a permanent vacation, investigate and ax the position coach or who ever knew about this and let him go...make due with the OL that we have left and honestly it's not going to be much worse that it already has been. Philbin will now have to spend more time babysitting the OL.

Media is going to tear us apart...hopefully this will bring the rest of the team together as once again ESPN smells blood in Miami.

"F" them all - come together as a team and take each others back like a family would...don't let that one bad apple rot what we've been building.
