Team Morale: Concerning Article

Obviously the Patriots are going to load the box to stop the run. Let Tanny keep the ball a couple of times on an Option. He will get a couple of first downs, they will bring the safties up to help. Long Ball to Wallace or Gibson. Will also soften up the middle with Lamar & Daniel having BIG games rushing after running that option a few times.

Philbin & Tanne will lead this crew back to some wins.
Neither of them seems bummed out, or defeated when a play, or even a game goes bad.
They keep focused on executing the next play and that's how you win.

They aren't giving up...Miami is 3-3 for crying out loud.

Crying about a loss is fine for Mon & Tues, but it's Friday...get pumped to kick some patriot butts!! :brewskis:

All I have to say is with 10 games yet to play if this team is giving up after 3 loses then every single one of the players and coaches in the locker room should be fired.

It is that simple but you won't convince me that the locker room wants to fail, I just can't see what it gains anyone.

I think feeling emotionally depleted (perhaps) from the realization that you're only average is a lot different from "giving up." The team will likely continue to give good effort, but it might be largely devoid of the confidence and swagger Walker was talking about.

emotionally depleted? are we talking about women here?

if a team is emotionally depleted at 3-3, they are a pretty sad group of humans. that, or they are all women. and I highly doubt the goup of humans in the locker room of an NFL team is emotionally depleted at 3-3. Walk into the bucs and jags locker room, and you MIGHT see a team full of emotionally depleted humans. But I doubt that as well.

Well tell that to James Walker, who's giving us the information, or call it something other than "emotionally depleted."

no, we aren't out writing reports on how we THINK the Dolphins are doing, either. And trying to make them come off as truth.
I think it's pretty much understood that when a journalist writes a column, it's his own opinion. No need to conduct a witch hunt. :)

which is the problem with journalists. they can't find a story, so they make up their own controversial BS. But that's a whole other thread, for a whole other forum. lol
