Well, the team every year gets my hopes up during the draft and free agency. We get teased in pre-season and then reality sets in. Let's face it, this coaching staff needs to be pulled out of this team by the roots. Examine the way they handled the Jonathon Martin issue. Spineless, leaderless and clueless. Our team is emotionless which is just like Philbin

I am 51 and attended games from 1970-2012. I will always be a fan but I have become numb and have no expecetations for this team in order to keep my sanity... This franchise needs an enema! How much would it cost to bring Gruden in?

This season may have been the worst because A not only did we buy in but a lot of the nation bought into the hype and B it all happened so fast. Nobody could have expected a collapse this damn fast and this damn soon .

This is why all the media "disrespect" the Dolphins when making predictions etc. They, just like us have seen the Dolphins fall flat year after year. They do not deserve any respect, have not earned any.

I know that Teams do not like to change coaches in the middle of the season, I would send a strong signal to the coaches and the fans by firing Philbin (I personally think he is a nice guy). He is flat and I do not see fire in his eyes and the team is taking on his trait. My vote would be for them to promote Lazor to HC and look to change the defensive coordinator. This would give the players some hope as well as the fans. This would just be the start of the axe swinging which will be in full force by the end of the season. I would be leaning on Dan Marino if I was Ross to give me a full staff assessment as Dan can quickly assess those who have skills and passion and those that are oxygen thieves.

The only coach that needs to be fired Monday is Lazor because RT needs to finish the season under a different OC. They owe him a shot at regaining the confidence of the organization. Every other reason for the change now is pointless.
