Tebow is many things, but NFL quarterback he ain't

He will not be an NFL QB...he can enjoy his college hero status because he wont be a super star in the NFL...his mechanics are so ugly
 
Who knows for sure, we heard the same thing about Vince Young and the jury is still out, while Leinhart seemed a cant miss guy.
 
The system Florida runs has set him up for failure at the NFL level. Even Tebow said it himself that he's not sure on what he wants to do after college.

Neither can Chad Pennington but that didn't stop him from becoming an outstanding NFL QB.
 
whether or not Tebow goes pro remains to be seen,and if he does,it also remains to be seen as to how well he does...who knows,he just might surprise everybody and go pro,and turn into a Pro-Bowl QB for whatever team gets him....
 
He might switch to LB,haha! He's a big boy who you have to at least admire for his toughness. And I hate Florida, I'm a CANE!

biggest thing that hurt Young is that he 1)can't read defenses and 2)He took the attitude that he didn't need to work on his passing because he could just run by people (Mike Vick took the same approach).

I give Tebow credit as this year early on he attempted to run less, but now he has to start up again because the Florida RBs aren't doing so hot (from what I've seen)

Doubt it very, very, very, very seriously....

The odds are certainly stacked against him...

What Chad Pennington CAN do is drop back 3, 5, and 7 steps....and read defenses...which is why he has an NFL career. Something Tebow hasn't done...and will struggle with in the pro's....just like every other QB that's ever come from a shotgun offense in college..

Throwing the 30 yard lasers won't get you a career in the NFL....
 
ANY team that picks him in the top 5 is gonna get a serious bust

well just quick thoughts:
-john lynch made the switch to safety and they basically have the same size and speed
-one CIS (canada's NCAA) quarterback switched to FB in the CFL and now has a pretty good career... he reminds me of tebow a lot
-matt jones switched to WR and while he's not what you'd expect, it's moreso because of personal issues than raw talent.
