Tebow on the Trade Block, Miami Dolphins a possibility

Like I said when Pryor was in the Supplemental draft, take a chance on him if it is for a late round pick. For Pryor I said a 6th or 7th. For Tebow, I say a 5th or 6th.

I don't believe the majority of it is political or religious. I don't like him because of the way he carries himself. He acts like the world owes him something because he's had to overcome adversity. This season has been a perfect example. He struggles badly in camp and instead of working harder to regain his starting (or even backup) position, he cries to the press about how his job as a starter was grabbed away from him.

You can see that way and it could be the case. All I said was I HOPE it was not political. I really do.

However, at the same time, it is possible that people in the media spite him for what he stands for off the field. I get a sense of bigotry toward Tim Tebow. Can I prove it? Nope. All conjecture on my part.

With all being said I do not want to have this turn into a political discussion.

I would give them a 7th round pick and use him in the wildcat or on the goal-line that's it, I wouldnt even sniff at the idea of letting him compete for QB, it takes him a half hr to drop back and make a throw......NO WAY!

I wouldn't mind him for a 5th thru 7th. Bring him in, see if he can learn another position like TE, and in the mean time, make him Marshall's account-abili-buddy.

He throws a football like Uncle Rico from Napolean Dynamite.

LOL! And his face looks like Arnold's at the end of Total Recall when he has to breath the air on Mars.

In all honestly, I feel bad for him - he's a good dude, I'm sure. But he'll never be what the world wants him to be in this league. He's got a lot more to offer to this sport than at the QB position. He's just not right for this league at QB.

I don't want to pay anything that amounts to anything for him, but call me crazy...I can see a scenario where he comes in for wildcat formations, and goal line situations....it could work.

I don't know if he'll ever be a good QB in the NFL or not but as a Christian I'm rooting for him......the guy has never done anything bad like some of the other thugs in the NFL so why do people wish him bad?

Ozzy rules!!

I dont wish him bad, he was just given millions of dollars in the first round as a qb unable to throw the ball. I dont want him on this team

as for the political stuff, he brought the controversy on himself. He is the one who decided to do that commercial on a politically touchy subject.

IF you can convince him -- and he buys in -- of the fact that he'll never, ever be a quarterback for us. And I mean never... then he has value as a short yardage player and possible FB/TE convert. But he has to buy in. If he's still holding out hope that he can be a QB, then I'm not interested. But as CK's been saying, he has some real physical ability to make the conversion.

Very good point. Absolutely not a QB...but as an H-back type I could see it. The only downside is that we just took Clay to do exactly what we would be asking Tebow to do.
