There was a thread about him on here yesterday, but I can't find it now. In my opinion, which ever team ends up with him, if he comes out, is going to be lucky. This kid has IT. Luckily for me the SEC rocks and gets national attention so I've got to see a lot of him. I live in Big 12 country. I would gladly draft him, trade Pennington, and start Henne next year with Beck and Tebow as the backups.

i HATE te"BLOWS"...
hes a ****y ,arrogant little prick who says wat people want to hear just to seem like hes a good guy. b.s i dont buy the crap wat a coinsidence" every time he has a speach he bring the camera crews. give him a humaitarian award. I WOULDNT BRING HIM TO THE FINS.

did you see him taunt the other guy doing the gator snap thing at the end of the game when he got flagged? his true self came out. *****y ******** and the pumping the crowd thing is old already i aint hating i just see through him i guess and he rubs me the wrong way. I have a feeling he wanted vengance for not getting the heisman this year.lol

yeah, all the humanitarian work he does at these missions around the world makes him a bad player and person...oh,and he does all that WITHOUT any camera crews around...

Dan Marino was considered "****y" and "arrogant" as well.

Not to say that Tebow is going to be Marino, because he won't. But there are plenty of QBs that can be considered those.

I wouldn't use a pick on Tebow personally. We have bigger needs than him. Kid's a tremendous college player (as much as I hate to say it), but won't amount to much in the pros IMO.

THATS GOOD HE DOES ALL THAT if that makes him happy .

but he doesnt "seem" to have wat it takes to be succesful in the pro's. (personal opinion)

Tebows not going to be a first round pick i'm stating this out now. Mark my words.

There are alot of knocks on Tebow, and as much as I love the kid, alot of them are true.....

That said, everyone spouting off all the kid's flaws are neglecting one thing....

Tebow does what he is asked to do. Its not his offense, he is told to go out and run that option BS. He doesnt get the luxury of just dropping back and tossing the ball.

Everyone assumes that simply because he does that well, that he can't transition to the NFL.

Gonna let you in on a little secret....Tim Tebow can do whatever he sets his mind to.

If you put him in a traditional NFL style offense, he will learn it and run it well. Yes, he WILL make the throws, he just needs to be in a system that lets him work on that.

Part of me would love to see Meyer move away from the option offense that the Gators use just so that Tim can prove the naysayers wrong. Unfortunately, thats not gonna happen.

I'm just don't recall too many if any at all that went from QBing the option to a traditional offense and having any success. I know Vick had some but as a QB he wasn't all that good, Ryan is there now and all those WR's that were holding Vick back seem to excel now with a drop back QB.

Tim may have success as some sort of x-factor ala Slash and Randle EL but I doubt he comes in as a QB with any success.

Tebow will NEVER be a successful NFL QB. If he's lucky, he'll end up as a serviceable H-Back. Any team that spends more than a 4th round pick on him is crazy.

that's what i think....i will laugh if Tebow goes pro and turns into a good strong NFL QB,and proves everybody wrong...

Tebow has IT, and has gotten better each year. He is still learning how to be a QB, and will only get better with time...One thing he doesnt have to learn is how to become a LEADER, cause hes got that down pat. He is a true NATURAL BORN LEADER, IN and OUT of the locker room. That is something that cant be taught!!! Oh and did i mention he has IT? Cause he does, and LOADS of IT!!!

All the naysayers about 24 years ago (including myself) said Doug Flutie couldnt do it either. Well he was a winner too, after he spent a few years in canada, where he won consistantly, he came back to the NFL and won some more. If the teams he played for would have just givin him the rock instead of going with whom they thought (on paper) looked better, he would have been a solid starter for many years. There were several years after Dan retired that I wished he had been playing for us. I know they arent the same type players, but they both have the IT factor.

Not saying Tebow is gona be the next MArino or Elway, nothing like that, but I can see him being a productive QB in the NFL. Anything is possible when you got athletic potential (which he does) and you got a strong work ethic (which he does) and a great attitude (which he does). He can make a fine pro!!!

tebow is going to be another great college qb like young and leinart etc etc who turn out to be a dud in the pros...

When was Doug Flutie ever good? You must be kidding, right...he played for 4 different teams. He is only 10 games over 500 as a career starter. he had three years when he threw more in'ts then td passes. He started 66 career nfl games and threw 68 in'ts, thats an average of one pick a game. Now if Tebow does end up having the career Flutie did, then we can defintely call him a bust.
