Q. A light semester coming up, I assume?
A. Yeah.
Q. Ballroom dancing like Matt Leinart?
A. (laughs) Easier.
Q. What do you have?
A. I guess the class that I would have is senior seminar. It’s one hour and one credit. It’s on Tuesday afternoons and we have practice. I’m going to work around that with the professors. I’m going to do whatever my counselor sets up. I’m a football player this semester.

Really not a big deal. He already has his degree.

If he is done then I'm not sure he should be allowed to take a BS 1 hour class just so he can play another entire season of football. I'm not sure how his scholarship works, or how much it pays for, but right now it seems like they're practically paying him to just play football.

Its an extra semester. I think most kids up at FSU/UF (on state school tuition) are doing the "5 year program". Tebow will be done in 4.5, how/when he took his courses shouldn't matter. He sounds like a good student and just because he loaded up his courses (and passed) earlier on doesn't mean that he shouldn't be allowed to take advantage of the 5 years of eligibility.

Other students take it easy early on and then blow off the rest of their classes when its time to go into the draft or when they decide to go to a 'minor' pro league.

Why is everyone ALWAYS looking to knock this great kid down a peg.

Eh whatever.Nobody is knocking him down a peg because they question wether 1 hour warrants one more FULL season of football...I could care less about Tim Tebow.

The only classes that I know of that are 1 hour are simple P.E. type classes that are usually filled with underclassmen. So I really don't see a situation in which someone would JUST need 1 more hour credit to finish up their degree. BTW, does anyone know what he's majoring in?

because he's on the gators - and they keep winning - and people can't stand it. there wouldn't be so much hate if the gators hadn't dominated college football during his tenure. i for one love it. more fuel to the fire.

he is an easy target though. and he's kind of a goof. and he goes to third world countries and circumcises kids. as long as he's winning, i'm cool with it.

:chuckle: If people need a reason, there's 1 right there.

Not a fan of Florida (Urban Meyer runs his mouth too much)

But Tebow is a class act. Not sure why people are hating on him.
I think he wins his second Heisman this season.

Tebow is a class act and a great guy but...

he wont win the Heisman when Florida loses 1-2 games and he can't move the ball down the field without Harvin.
