Ted Ginn was #1 in fumbles among second year receivers too.

Now most of us are aware that Ted Ginn turned a corner in the second half of this year, but I was a little impressed when I saw that he is fourth in yards for second year receivers. Now while I don't think this proves he was worth the #9 pick, I think it does prove that he is gonna work out, which I think is more important.

I think Ginn was worth the #9 pick and for such a skiny WR he's tough as nails. Just watch the Ravens game when Ed Reed was returning the int to the endzone, Ginn was laid out and got up and was in the very next offensive play. I love his hands, his smarts and his desire to succeed. He may not be Jerry Rice, but I like what he brings to the Dolphins.

Had he been our 2nd rounder, I'd be completely thrilled with him.

I like him and think he'll grow to be a very good player. Could be great, but he needs to show more soon. Don't think he was worth #9 overall yet.

Even if he was a late first Dolphin fans would be fine, it's the fact that he was picked at number 9. Still he is growing on me and he seems to be improving nicely.

Ginn is also #12 in TDs. So far I think that Ginn has been widely inconsistent and has not lived up to anywhere near the #9 pick.

U know this is for Fumbles and not Fumbles lost right?

There was 2 or 3 times where Ginn caught the ball and then fumbled out of bounds trying to make a move on the sideline . . . one play I remember was against the Bills at home.

Ted Ginn has lost ZERO fumbles this year.

This was a positive stat and there had to be someone to come in here and try to put a negative spin on it. He is a Dolphin . . . and like it or not, his success would be very much welcomed by this team.

Plus this isn't factoring in his rushing yards either.

Plus the other 3 guys . . . well Calvin Johnson is the Detroit offense and Breaston is in a pass happy offense. Bowe is solid, but again on a team with a bad record who runs a spread offense. Ginn did well for himself this year. Much improved from his rookie season. He needs a big year next year.

1000 yards receiving and 7 receiving TD's would be sweet for him.

Well considering we haven't been a juggernaut of an offense the last two years it's a little tough for any WR to exceed in this offense. Not to mention there is a long list of top WR's the didn't exactly excell right out of the gate. Whats do you expect 1500 yards and 18 TD's from a player that's been in two different systems and had 5 different QB's his first 2 seasons? At least you can see improvement in Ginn.

u cant knock him ted ginn fow ehre he was picked, only the prev admin should get ****e for that.

on peformance as WR i think so far he above average and this yr notable improvement.

hopefully next yr we will see best of him. If he can step up nice recv core of ginn, camarillo and bess, espesh for the way we quick hit recv and look for YAC.

I think if Miami signs a legitamet #1 WR next year Ginn will be this year Ernest Wilford. I know what the guy did and all, but I dont think he will ever be a true number 1. I know he recieves comparisons to Coles and Santana, but neither of those guys have a ring or have smelled playoffs in a while. So, I really hope we find a true number one. We know Camarillo can be a good number 2 and that Bess is an excellent slot receiver, but Ginn will be a fourth at best next year or a guy that is brought in on occasions. Remember !

So you acknowledge that Ginn is comparable to Coles and Santana, who took a couple years before really breaking out, but your reasoning for that meaning nothing is because they haven't made the playoffs recently? Since when did we judge how good wide receivers are based on if they make it to the playoffs?

And why would Ginn, the #1 on this team, get demoted to #4 next year when we only add one wide receiver?

i will say it again ted ginn will not be a dolphin for to long for the matter that bess did in his rookie year what ginn should have been doing already, bess is progressing faster than ginn

Bess isnt being double covered...

If pennington had a stronger arm, to utilize Ginn's speed, he would of had a 1,000 yard season this year...EASY

Ginn is fast and quick, he would be great running those 15 yard slant patterns, or a streak now and again...

We all know pennington cant throw those types of passes.

watch...everyone on this forum says it takes a WR 3 years to develop.

Ginn will have another sub par year next year with Pennington, then the following year...Chad Henne will step up..and Ginn will have a Carear year (thats if Henne of course pans out)
