Ok so after last week I wanted Ginn to be cut. No let me rephrase that. I wanted Ginn's head to be cut off for his f-ups. I'm fed up like a lot of you with his horrible playing lately. I mean JUST CATCH THE BALL.

But then after that painful loss to the Saints and reading peoples posts about him it made me think "Ginn is not a #1 receiver clearly and even though he has s*cked b*lls lately, he would be the shizznit if we had a solid #1 out there with him".

Yes his dropped passes bother me but no one on here can disagree with the fact that teams are mainly concerned with him rather then our other lack-luster receivers. If he has some of that pressure taken away from him and keep Bess in the slot next year that could be a dangerous combo.

I'm all for keeping Ginn because I don't think he's been given the chance to play behind anyone yet in his NFL career. Does anyone agree with me on this or are most of you DONE with the guy completely?

i disagree. he's not getting pressure most of the time when the ball hits him in the hands, and he drops it...

I think you're right in not having the chance to play behind somebody but if the Dolphins are not going to get a legitimate #1, Ginn needs to go.

I think we are all pissed and Ginn is the natural target but the problem with his hands has just come up this season, so it's correctable. I can live with him running out of bounds if we have a legitimate #1 who is physical. Ginn's speed is hard to replace and is oh so valuable in stretching the field.

Again, if the Dolphins can get a real #1, I don't mind Ginn staying and playing on passing downs. If no real #1, see ya!

Well put. But if we don't get anyone and then lose Ginn we are pretty screwed!

It's not about being done with him. It's about seeing more that 1 big play in 6 games. A good number 2, can step it up when a number 1 goes down. This means he's fundamentals are solid, and Ginn does not have those down yet. No he doesn't have a number 1 in front of him, but this offense isn't built that way right now. Dan Henning said it, they play WR's in certain packages. Hell, we've lined up with 1 WR (Bess) on certain sets.

He's ALREADY Gone to hell in a hand-basket!!

You are here either looking for attention or you know jack about football.

nope. and i'm not being a smart ***. if you watch the games. where's he's dropped the ball. the defender is no where near him...

yea but if you read the my original post it goes beyond dropped passes. he obviously needs to do something aboutt hat if he wants to continue his NFL career. Teams look at the Dolphins and see that he is our only "real" threat who can go deep so when it comes to our receivers they hone in on him.

Since he clearly isn't a #1 receiver and he's getting the attention a #1 would obviously he won't succeed too well.

and yea I watched the last game and saw him bobble that pass where he sharper was on him and the safety was zeroing in on him. should I post the video since you didn't watch it?

Your green rep is probably going all red after saying something positive. Glad you had the balls to make a thread on it.

I'm bringing up a legitimate point in the midst of Ginn bashing going on all the time here. Everyone seems to be calling for his head.

Let me hear you dispute this.

*sigh*...i guess that's the only ball he's ever dropped...you are right. my fault. what was I thinking...

Ginn isn't the only wr in the whole nfl or the draft that can be a deep threat. obviously his speed doesn't help because he's still not getting the job done. i'd rather have a guy a little slower, with better route running, and can catch the ball. it's ginn's 3rd year. it's all or nothing. he needs to be gone after this year if miami finds a true number 1. which they should, or i'd be really disappointed in the trifecta.
