Alright guys I am happy that we won this game against the jets but I want to say something about Ted Ginn Jr.

This game by no means indicates that Ginn should be one of our starting receivers. Please check your thoughts in this matter because he only made plays at the position he was drafted to do. He did not make any plays at the WR.

I am posting this before you guys start flooding the board with "LETS START TED GINN AT WR, HE HAS PROGRESSED". He did not show us anything that could indicate him winning his old job back.

Please enjoy this win but lets not go crazy with the Ted Ginn threads now.

I was going to start a similiar thread. Ted Ginn showed he does have a position on this team and that position is kick returner. Maybe now that he has a position that he can play and contribute at he might be able to get some time to learn how to play receiver. He will never be a #1 guy but if we can find a #1 guy he could be like Alvin Harper and stretch the field for us.

In no way shape or form am I getting over him costing us perhaps 2 games this year, but without him we don't win this game today.

Well Done Ted.

How about making him our 3rd down back? He also was a QB in HS. If they say he can't catch, then hand-off to him.

I think a lot of his problems at WR have stemmed off a confidence issue. This is not excusing him of anything, he needs to control that. I know he's capable of making some of the catches that he has dropped this season, but he has a mental block or something. He still needs to earn his way back in his WR receiver. I'm hoping with his confidence high he can make some plays at WR next week.

Hate him or love him, Ginn single handedly won us this game. He's made some plays in two of our losses that have hurt us badly but this game without him we definitely wouldn't have won.

Ted Ginn is a not a good WR... we all know this (I hope). But if he can be a dynamic returner, he has a place on this team as in that role.

Ginn needs to be our WR. Did you see what happened to our run game with him on the sideline. Ginn on the field keeps the defense honest, and today proved it. I want to know why no one calls for Bess's head? Because he wasnt drafted? He has had huge mistakes that have drastically changed the momentum of the games. He should of had two fumbles today, we got lucky with no review. I like Bess, but if heads should roll for mistakes, than dropped passes are no were near as serious as fumbles.

see people over react alot. When he has a good game they think the world of him. When he has a bad game they want him cut. I just want to see consistency, nothing more, nothing less.

Ginn was able to catch these passes in college. There is something holding him back right now and I think it is a mental problem. Ginn does make our offense better, but he could make it a lot better if he'd stop dropping passes.

Bess is a good WR but he has had a case of fumle-itis for a few games now and the coaches better fix that fast,

I wonder if Ginn makes the grab on the pass Henne threw that overthrew Hartline . . . then again maybe he gets jammed from the start . . . who knows . . . all I know is that Ginn needs to be involved in this offense more than ANY of our other WR's, and its the job of our OC and WR coach to get this kid focused and put him in positions to succeed.

He was drafted to be a WR. The kick returning was an added benefit.

Hopefully enough Ginn bashers learned 2 things toiday.

1. That you HAVE to put the ball in Teddy's hands.

2. Our offense, especially the running game, SUCKS without the threat of Teddy going deep.

yes maybe ginn isnt what everyone wants but i still think hes way better than any other wr we have.

He'll Be Our Devin Hester... Remember Hester Didn't Play Wr For 3 Seasons....

ginn is a very good player hejust needs to work on somethings remember hester didn't play wr right away either he was a heck of a returner and then they worked with him at wideout for now i say start turner leave ginn there and lets see what this guy we spent a 3rd on can do!!!!!!
